Example of strain rosette calculations and of the

errors which can be corrected using the


transverse sensitivity factor provided with these
gauges.

A delta rosette is mounted at a point on a


structure with its 0gauge aligned with the
X-axis of an arbitrary coordinate system.
Strain readings are obtained using bridge
circuits and assuming perfect thermal
compensation. The transverse sensitivity
coefficient Kt = 0.02.
Strain readings are:
