As Director coordinated each day of the summer and school year; including
activities, field trips, food and supplies, room distributions, group attendance
facilitation, staff monitoring, staff support, and budgeting.
Caretaker and recreational activity coordinator for children grades K-6 during the
Summer. Worked with upwards of 800 kids.
Caretaker for children grades K-8 during the early morning hours before school
(School Year). Assisted in providing breakfast and shuttle
departure. Also developed educational, creative and physical activity plans.
Instructed a specialty camp for the brief study of laboratory sciences for
children grades 4-5.
CPR & First Aid Certified.

Program Information & Opportunity Presenter
Acted as a public interpreter and tour guide for the public. Covered exhibits
pertaining to Intertidal organisms, Alcids & Shorebirds, Cephalopods, and
Pacific Marine Mammals.
Acted as an interviewer and mentor for newly incoming High School
Volunteers.
Developed, Orchestrated and Assisted various educational sessions for
families and young children interested in Marine Science.

Showcased different marine species and their attributes and interwove physical
activity to promote kinesthetic learning.
Beach monitor and tour guide on shore life creature restoration and awareness.
Passed on the legacy of the project to rising seniors at Mount Rainier High
School. Still continue to assist with the instruction of biological effects of
invasive plant life, pollution, the proper removal and planting of new plants.

Flute & Tuba Instructor; Theory of Music Instruction; Student Band Secretary
Instructed newly joining band members on how to play the flute and tuba with
proper form and tone.
Taught theory of music (history of music, how to read sheet music, basic notes and
instructional lessons).
As the section leader for Flute and Tuba, I received the title of Band Secretary via
class vote, and organized band related activities, field trips, financial and
admission processes, and aided in the instruction of band classes when the
instructor was absent.
