MP 188
God is our strength and refuge,
Our present help in trouble;
and we therefore will not fear,
though the earth should change!
Though mountains shake and tremble,
though swirling floods are raging,
God the Lord of hosts is with us evermore!
There is a flowing river,
Within Gods holy city;
God is in the midst of her she shall not be moved!
Gods help is swiftly given,
thrones vanish at his presence God the Lord of hosts is with us evermore!
Come, see the works of our maker,
learn of his His deeds all powerful;
wars will cease across the world
when He shatters the spear!
Be still and know your creator,
uplift Him in the nations God the Lord of hosts is with us evermore!
Richard Bewes 1934 - Words from Psalm 46

CLOSING SONG
Now unto Him who is able to keep
Able to keep you from falling
And present you faultless
Before the presence of His glory
With exceeding joy
To the only wise God our Saviour
Be glory and majesty
Dominion and power
Both now and forever, Amen

WINTER CHORAL CONCERT

GLORIOUS MOZART!

THE CHILDRENS CHURCH needs volunteers to help cook

the food for the 36 children from Masukwana, who attend
on Sundays.
Thank you to the folk who so faithfully give of their time to
cook meals for the Sunday school children. There is an
ongoing need for support in this ministry.
MP 465
Meekness and majesty, manhood and deity,
in perfect harmony, the man who is God:
Lord of eternity dwells in humanity
kneels in humility and washes our feet.

Oh, what a mystery,

meekness and majesty:
bow down and worship,
for this is your God,
this is your God.
Fathers pure radiance, perfect in innocence,
yet learns obedience to death on a cross:
suffering to give us life, conquering through sacrifice;
and as they crucify, prays, Father, forgive.
Wisdom unsearchable, God the invisible,
Love indestructible in frailty appears.
Lord of infinity, stooping so tenderly,
lifts our humanity to the heights of his throne.
