ENGLISH:
The technological revolution has created a need to be conversant with English as it acts
as a 'bridge' language between native and non-native speakers to interact with one another. When
people of several nationalities meet, English becomes the common language of communication;
rightly it has been called 'lingua franca'.
English is increasingly popular in international diplomacy. People in Australia, New
Zealand, Canada, India, parts of Africa and many smaller island nations speak English. It is the
commonly adopted second language in Germany, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and the
Netherlands. Education, research, and common industry vocabulary is in English. International
business meetings and conferences are conducted in English, global companies standardize on
English with documents and computer systems all set up in English. Consequently, command
over the English language opens opportunities for education and work in these countries.
Proficiency in English would enable you to converse better with people in the
neighborhood who are from other States of India, in your work place, in an online forum, in
other formal as well as informal environments. Travel enthusiasts can go places if they are able
to converse in English. If you are in an international airport you will observe that signs are
usually in two languages, the local language and in English, which implies English is
indispensable at home and outside the country.
Several of us are embarrassed to speak in English as we do not wish to be the laughing
stock. Conversely, mistakes help one learn better. Dont waste a chance to speak English
because you are nervous about making a mistake.
Be confident with an I can do it attitude, which will help you learn better.

CORPORATE TRAINING
Why is corporate training so important today? Employees form the backbone of any
business enterprise. While those in the management are involved in decision-making their
employees offer services to execute the same. Every individuals contribution is significant for
the well-being of the company.

According to Harvard Business Review, dissatisfaction with some employeedevelopment efforts appears to fuel many early exits. What is the reason for this? Formal training
is expensive and can take employees off the job for a while. Employers are unwilling to invest in
workers who might not stay long. This creates a vicious circle; companies will not train workers
because they might leave and workers leave because they do not get training. Employee
training and development is essential to a successful company.

Technological revolution and globalization has made it imperative to hire outstanding

qualified professionals who are equipped with exceptional inter personal skills. These skills
require upgrading through training, mentoring and coaching. An excellent communicator is an
asset to a company
How can corporate training help? Training refers to the process of acquiring the essential
skills required for a certain job. Workers may have certain constraints which hinder them from
offering their best. An organized training and development program facilitates employees to
eliminate their weak spots, be well informed about the day to day procedure, perform
effectively, efficiently and energetically, thus maintain uniformity in the overall output. Optimal
utilization of man power and resources increases the productivity and profitability of a company.

PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT

What is personality? Personality refers to a persons characteristics, behavior, attitude,

mentality and appearance. For example, your personality is how you present yourself before
others. It is a set of features that appeals to the public.
Your personality affects your achievement in a situation. If you can easily interact with
new people, you are likely to be successful in sales and business development roles than a person
who tends to be less articulate. Likewise, if you are methodical, systematic and pay attention to
detail, you are more suitable for engineering roles than a person who is expedient (pays less
attention to structure and details).

IMPORTANCE OF PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT

Personality Development fundamentally means grooming and enhancing ones inner and
outer personality to bring in a growth mindset that will allow a person to lead a less stressful and
more successful life. Every individual possesses a distinct persona that could be refined and
developed. This technique includes improving communication techniques, language speaking
abilities, boosting self- confidence, developing positive traits; unless you have a sound
personality, you will not be able to achieve a high amount of success in life.

WHAT YOU WILL BE TRAINED IN?

Every individual reflects and responds to a situation in different ways. The course aims to
improve and change the inner traits like attitude, confidence, and perception. It includes personal
grooming and body language- conversation skills, attitude, posture, and dress style, even the
hair-style is important. Personal grooming includes everything that makes you more
sophisticated.
In these courses you will be trained to speak better before a diverse group of people, to
dress up suitably according to the prescribed dress code, customs and practices of places,
conduct yourself well, and remain calm in tough situations. Qualities like leadership, sense of
humor, good behavior and efficient convincing skills would be attended to during this process.
Personality development sessions steer you to develop the qualities you already possess, also to
inculcate new ones.

BODY LANGUAGE
Body language refers to various forms of non verbal communication, wherein individuals
may reveal clues of unspoken intentions or feelings through their physical behavior. These can
include body posture, gestures, facial expressions and eye movements. Body language provides
clues as to the attitude or state of mind of a person. It may indicate aggression, attentiveness,
boredom, a relaxed state, pleasure, amusement, and intoxication.

WHY IS BODY LANGUAGE IMPORTANT IN COMMUNICATION?

Communication plays a very important role in professional life and we have to learn all
the aspects of proper communication in order to progress in our careers. We lay emphasis on oral
and written communication but we often fail to realize that body language is the most important
means of communication which tells more about us than the way we speak or write emails. Body

language can send stronger signals than words or written text, as it is not easy to wear a mask in
a face to face interaction.

HINDI LEARNING: WHY AND HOW

Apart from being the official language of India and spoken in several parts of the country,
Hindi is the fourth most widely spoken language in the world (Wikipedia).
It is estimated that nearly half a billion people worldwide speak this wonderful language.
Latest research has shown that learning a second language helps fight against Alzheimers
disease and slows down the aging effects of the brainCommunicating effectively in Hindi will
prove beneficial to any learner, from a home maker to the CEO of a multinational company. One
of the most challenging things in learning a language is to produce the exact sound with the right
stress and intonation. There are often words that can sound very similar to our English ears but
are completely different to native speakers ears. Even though online tutors address this, learning
the language from a native speaker helps a learner speak with correct pronunciation, appreciate
and understand the dialect of the various Hindi speaking States and also learn the Devanagri
script of writing for use in a personal and professional environment.
