ENGLISH:
The technological revolution has created a need to be conversant with English as it acts
as a 'bridge' language between native and non-native speakers to interact with one another. When
people of several nationalities meet, English becomes the common language of communication;
rightly it has been called 'lingua franca'.
English is increasingly popular in international diplomacy. People in Australia, New
Zealand, Canada, India, parts of Africa and many smaller island nations speak English. It is the
commonly adopted second language in Germany, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and the
Netherlands. Education, research, and common industry vocabulary is in English. International
business meetings and conferences are conducted in English, global companies standardize on
English with documents and computer systems all set up in English. Consequently, command
over the English language opens opportunities for education and work in these countries.
Proficiency in English would enable you to converse better with people in the
neighborhood who are from other States of India, in your work place, in an online forum, in
other formal as well as informal environments. Travel enthusiasts can go places if they are able
to converse in English. If you are in an international airport you will observe that signs are
usually in two languages, the local language and in English, which implies English is
indispensable at home and outside the country.
Several of us are embarrassed to speak in English as we do not wish to be the laughing
stock. Conversely, mistakes help one learn better. Dont waste a chance to speak English
because you are nervous about making a mistake.
Be confident with an I can do it attitude, which will help you learn better.

CORPORATE TRAINING
Why is corporate training so important today? Employees form the backbone of any
business enterprise. While those in the management are involved in decision-making their
employees offer services to execute the same. Every individuals contribution is significant for
the well-being of the company.
According to Harvard Business Review, dissatisfaction with some employeedevelopment efforts appears to fuel many early exits. What is the reason for this? Formal training
is expensive and can take employees off the job for a while. Employers are unwilling to invest in
workers who might not stay long. This creates a vicious circle; companies will not train workers
because they might leave and workers leave because they do not get training. Employee
training and development is essential to a successful company.
PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT
BODY LANGUAGE
Body language refers to various forms of non verbal communication, wherein individuals
may reveal clues of unspoken intentions or feelings through their physical behavior. These can
include body posture, gestures, facial expressions and eye movements. Body language provides
clues as to the attitude or state of mind of a person. It may indicate aggression, attentiveness,
boredom, a relaxed state, pleasure, amusement, and intoxication.
language can send stronger signals than words or written text, as it is not easy to wear a mask in
a face to face interaction.
