    Book report

    Settings: The first part of the novel takes place in Orlando, Florida. Margo and Q
    spend the night before she disappears driving around Orlando, specifically Jefferson
    Park and near Sea World getting revenge. Jefferson Park is a fictional subdivision in the
    novel where Margo and Q live. he starts to explore the outskirts of Orlando. And finally
    in the third part of the novel, the setting expands further as their road trip takes them
    from Orlando, Florida to North Carolina, and finally to, the once Esso copyright trap
    village, Agloe, New York. The time period for Paper Towns is from approximately midMay of the groups graduating year, to the middle of June. All the characters are
    attending prom and graduation and although it never clearly states that this is the time
    period, it is very much implied. Plot: Young and shy Quentin is in for the night of his life
    when Margo, the most popular student in high school, recruits him to help her play
    mischievous pranks on the friends who betrayed her. The next day, however, the
    mysterious Margo is nowhere to be found. With help from a few buddies and some
    cryptic clues that she left behind, Quentin embarks on an obsessive mission to find the
    girl who stole his heart and made him feel truly alive.

    Theme: One of the main themes in Paper Towns is chasing after what you want in
    life, no matter what is left behind. Ben also proves that he will chase after what he
    wants, by not giving up on trying to get a date with Lacey. He knew it would be risky and
    he knew he may get made fun of, but its what he wanted to he didnt worry about
    anyone else. Finally, Q leaves his family and friends at his graduation, he misses his
    graduation, in order to find Margo because that is what he wanted out of life in that
    moment.

    Conflict: Margo left after the night she and Quentin play their mischievous pranks.
    Solution: Quentin search all the places to look for Margo. And After all they finally
    found margo.
