lesson plans, designed bulletin boards, and utilized running records as a form of assessment (Fall
2013).
Kindergarten
Keystone Christian Academy (York, PA) Observed co-teaching for five days in a kindergarten
classroom of twelve students, monitored student behavior, assisted with pre-arranged activities,
and planned a two-day literacy lesson which incorporated music and fine motor activities (Fall
2014).
Windsor Manor Elementary (York, PA) Assisted in a classroom of sixteen high-risk students for
five days. Observed technology use with kinesthetic reinforcement. (Fall 2014).
Risley Avenue Primary School (London, England) Spent two weeks in a multicultural
classroom (over 40 languages spoken school-wide). Planned and executed a lesson on America
incorporating ESL strategies. Prepared an assembly for the entire school (Summer 2014).
First Grade
Leaders Heights Elementary (York, PA) Assisted students in preparing for a parent program.

Logos Academy (York, PA) Observed and practiced direct instruction in a classroom of students
from a low socioeconomic region (Spring 2015).

four-plan unit for social studies methods class using modified science curriculum (Spring 2015).

Hillview Elementary (Grove City, PA) Organized and taught two lesson plans in a four-plan
unit for science methods class with much emphasis on classroom management and inquiry-based
learning (Fall 2014).

VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE
Vacation Bible School
Led and assisted a group of ten to twelve children (age three) for four nights. Modified provided
activities to be age appropriate (2012 & 2013).
Prepared and organized materials for the event. Facilitated a free-play creativity area (Spring
2014).
Assisted with a small group of incoming kindergarteners during four, two-hour sessions
reinforcing social and motor skills with the intent of building enthusiasm for the upcoming school
year (2013 & 2014).
WORK EXPERIENCE
Spring Garden Township Day Camp Counselor
Supervised up to 150 campers per day with a staff of eleven. Planned engaging small and large
group activities both individually and as a team (Summer 2015).
Managed a cello studio of up to eight students at one time. Customized weekly lessons to meet
the needs of each student. Worked closely with parents to make at-home practice sessions most
effective (2009-present).
Greeted and seated customers, managed the floor chart to ensure quality service, kept tables
clean, and managed take-out orders (Summer 2015).
Answered phones, greeted clients, and scheduled appointments. Focused on customer relations
(2012-2014).
