BODY

Talk about contrast:

- Definition: This is the use of opposites near or beside one another. For
example: a light object next to a dark object or a rough texture next to a
smooth texture. Contrast tends to add a certain amount of drama to a
work of art.
- Can be created through colour, details, patterns, and outlining to create a
center of interest (mitten)
- List some patterns students saw in The Mitten Tree on the board. (This list
will remain on the board and can be used as a starting point for students)
