This lesson is the third lesson in unit 7: Earth and our Universe moon characteristics . This lesson will cover
the characteristics of the moon, and how can we observe it.

The overall aim of the lesson is to review the lesson by applying different activities between the groups ,
individually and pairs, to enhance the lesson conception on their mind .

The teacher will distribute different words for different students, and pictures also to another
different students, and they have to find their partners
Lesson description:
Students are going to look for the word that fit the meaning of the picture
Materials:
Words, pictures.
The words are:
1. Moon
2. Craters
3. First quarter moon
4. Full moon
5. Moon phases
Explain
The teacher will give each student, a reading paper, and will give them 4 minutes to read it all. After they all
finish, the teacher will give them then one question for each group, they have to answer it by drawing the
answer in the white small board, after 4 minutes eah group will discus its question and the answer with the
whole class.
The questions are:

4. What are the two main areas in the moon?

Elaborate
The teacher will ask the students as a homework, to go home today and picture the moon, then define its phase,
and draw it.
Evaluate
The last 10 minutes of the lesson. Teacher will give to each group a big white card, to draw and write
what did they learned from todays class, then they will show it to their class, and the teacher will paste
their work in the back of the class.
If there is extra time, the teacher will let the students to draw a moon character and name it.
