Importance
It is important to have finances in place before production starts, as every
producer needs to pay for Equipment used such as Cameras, tripods, green
screen, lighting and sound. For an Advert production for example, a producer
may also need materials such correct costumes, items for correct mise-en-scene
and talent in order to fulfil the desired effect. Crew will also be needed such as
cameraman, soundman lighting engineer researchers editors and runners in order
to produce a professional looking advert.
Once all is complete facilities such as editing suits and postproduction equipment
will be needed and these cost a lot of money.

Facility hire
Importance
Source of finance is very important in the media industry as the
quality of projects will depend on the funding provided to the
project, productions will require high quality equipment In order to
produce a high quality production, so will need for instance good
cameras, lights, mics and tripods, the finance will also be required
to cover the costs of facility hire so they will first need to find a good
location then they will need to hire that location and that can be
quite expensive, costs of crew is also covered by the source of
finance and the talent will need to be payed wages as the actors will
not work for free, materials cover the use of costumes and props
used In the production these are very Important to make the
production unique from others and this can be payed on a low to a
high budget depending on what you need to use. And finally
transport, this can be a very expensive just like the facility hire as it
would depend on the scale of the production If it is a large
production there would be a lot of props, materials and equipment
to move around as well as caravans for the crew and actors to sleep
in so they are always on the filming location, however smaller
productions may not require as much effort but could vary on the
filming location.

Time:
Deadlines
Availability of equipment
Availability of personnel (size
of team; roles)
Importance
Timing is key to projects and having deadlines is one of the most
important things to keep your production on route, having deadlines
means that you have planned what you need to accomplish and will
keep you on track so you know that you are using your time as
efficiently as possible, failing to properly plan time and shoots may
cause problems in the end productions as everything will not be
complete and things will be missing this is why it is very important
to keep on track and having a deadline. Deadlines should be
planned during the pre-production time and they must also
remember to have spare time in case they need to re-shoot
something or at the last minute they want to add something new.
This is also an issue for availability of crew and equipment as if the
production team Is behind they will need to spend more finance on
equipment and crew as they have hired equipment for a certain
amount of days and will not be allowed to keep the equipment for as
long as they need and will cost the production more money if kept
over the allotted time

Facilities:
Production equipment
Post-production equipment
facility houses
Importance
Equipment is one of the most important requirements to a
successful television program of film as quality of the product will
determine its success, because If it is bad quality It is less likely to
be successful. Professional equipment is required to film a
professional production as bad quality may cause the audience to
lose interest as it lacks the required aesthetics. Its not all bad as
equipment can be hired instead of bought so it is less expensive
financially for the production. Post-production equipment is just as
important this is for instance editing software if you do not use upto-date software If could cause your production to look old and slow
and this could really effect the film in a bad way. Facility houses is
where equipment that is not being used is stored this is a good way
to prevent equipment to brake whether It is hired or purchased, so
this will not set back the production and wont cost a large amount
of money to replace any equipment.

Interviews
Costumes
Importance
It is important to have original material because it helps to
captivate the audience's attention. If every film was the same no
one would enjoy watching films anymore because over used ideas
and things such as a clichs in a film can put the audience off the
film and they will not be interested in watching is as there Is no
suspense in the film and will cause the film to be unsuccessful, the
writers and director need to produce original ideas that will motivate
the audience and produce a successful film. Archive material would
be used if there was any missing footage and they needed to make
the film a little longer so would use archive footage to fill in the
missing spots. Sound and photo materials can be used free off
charge from websites such as the one linked below they use free
copyrighted music. Costume and hiring will be available from any
locations such as the one linked below. Scrips are a very important
thing for a production because it is what the entire production is
based from and its important to come up with your own ideas.
Interviews are used to make sure that people you are hiring are
really who they are and what they need.
