    normal, are you ready

    : I am ready nurse

    : that i prepare the equitment used in five minutes ill be back


    with instruments

    ( 5 menit kemudian )
    Nurse

    : I returned with his tools we start only

    : Before taking action firts hand wash and wear handscoon

    : Clean the place you want in the syringe

    1. Get the supplies you'll need


    a. insulin bottle An insulin pen/ syringe
    b. A new pen needle ( jarum suntik )
    c. Enough insulin inside to give the required dose
    d. Alcohol Swab
    e. Handscoon
    2. Explain to patient about the purpose of insulin injection The Purpose is to control
    blood sugar.

    Before you inject wash your hands with soap and water or handrub.
    Wear the handscoon
    Put a new needle into your insulin pen
    Set the dose of insulin according to the patients needs
    Disinfected the punction area with alcohol swab circulary
    Pinch the skin and shot the needle in at a 90 angle
    Push the needle into skin Inject the insulin according the dose slowly

    10. Hold the needle in for a good 5 seconds to prevent too much insulin from escaping
    out Do not massage after this.
    11. Tidy up the insulin injection instrument
    12. Suggest the patient to eat 30 minutes later after injection
    13. Remove the handscoon and dont forget to washing hand again
