1) To let the new manager understand issues and concerns of the existing staff 2) To give the team a clear understanding of the new manager's expectations, leadership style, and his/her concern. 3) To create an environment where the manager and team members can explore concerns, preconceptions, and potential issues 4) To establish a communication process with a solid, long-lasting structure

Facilitator explain results to the manager one by one. The manager answers their questions as much as possible. 1) What do we already know about him/her? -Married, Got 2 children, Sometimes works until midnight 2) What dont we know but would like to know? -Job and management experiences until now, Background, Policy 3) What should he/she know about us? -Willing to support him, Have more discussion and individual interview with him, Need to know our department strategy 4) What problem will he/she be facing? -HQ give him much pressures about sales

7. How long does the session take from start to finish?


1) Presentation by manager 15minutes 2) Opinions collection from staff 90-120minutes 3) Explanation from facilitator/Answers from the manager 30minutes 4) Final discussion 30minutes
