The alarms are sorted by management domain: Equipment domain alarms, Transmission domain alarms, Fault location method. Equipment domain alarms This section lists all the alarms that can be physically detected by each rack, subrack or any kind of board. In each alarm table, you will find a description of the problem and a maintenance guidance, with eventually a test order to follow. The first table contains the generic alarms that are common to all the boards. The other tables contains the specific alarms of the following boards: ESC (Equipment Controler EC functionality) ESC (Shelf Controler SC functionality) OAC SPVM SPVF_1310_1550 SPVM_C MCC OCC10 OMDX and OADM 4 x Any drawers MVAC Generic boards alarms This table contains the equipment alarms common to all the boards implemented in the 1696MSPAN.
