Have you heard the news? SAS used to stand for Senior Adult Services and now we are switching to Spirited Activity Services to include the additional program SAS is starting in May. This program consists of five clubs you can join to make new friends, enjoy current interests or explore new interests. There is a gardening club where you will learn the fundamentals of gardening and plan and plant your own plot. The sports club is where you will participate in sports and attend sporting events. The Adventure club is all about being on the go. The volunteer club is focused on helping others and doing volunteer activities as a group. The Arts and Entertainment club delves into music, the theater and the arts. These clubs are open to any individual with developmental disabilities that reside in the St. Charles county area. Call SAS for more information about meeting times and dues. The community garden begins this May; in nice weather we are meeting at the garden and for inclement weather we will meet in the SAS activity room. We are offering lots of activities for our current SAS members so come and join us this May .
