INTRODUCTION TO MAYUR OVERSEAS
INTRODUCTION Mayur Overseas, a Government of India recognized Export House, started its journey way back in 1983 as a carpet unit. Whilst operating in one of the fastest growing economies of the world, Mayur Overseas grabbed the opportunities of growth and moved one step ahead by adding Jacquard and Dobby, shuttle less looms also in year 1999. Thereby, in its voyage turning imagination to reality, Mayur Overseas diversified its range of products from only Floor Covering to other Home Furnishing products also such as Bedcovers, Throws, Cushion Covers, Curtains, and Kitchen Coordinates etc. as per the market needs. Today, with an experience of more than two decades in textile industry, we, at Mayur Overseas regularly introduce new designs, colors and styles in our product range to meet the customers' identified as well as unidentified needs. Stringent quality checks at every stage of production by our experienced production supervisors and professionally managed workforce have enabled us to execute on-time deliveries and providing products at par with International Standards.
Infrastruture
1.1 Shuttle-less weaving machines In shuttle-less weaving machine, Company works on both Dobby & Jacquard Looms (two SUPER JUMBO Jacquard 6172 Hooks and 8192 Hooks are also installed). In total, 10 fully electronic, wider and short width looms have been installed, wherein fabric in different qualities such as 100% Cotton, Cotton / Linen, 100% Polyester, Polyester / Cotton, Chenille, Rayon is being woven in both fine and coarse qualities of yarns.
Also, 25 Juki Single Needle and 02 Pegasis five needle over-lock stitching machines are installed and proper finishing and packaging section is allocated to ship the merchandise on time as per International Standards.
1.2 Hand-tufted carpets At present Company has skilled work-force of about 75 Tufters, working on 25 tufting looms and 40 tufting frames in different sizes achieving the target of about 6,000 to 8,000 SQM carpets per month; needless to say these capacities can be revised as per the exigencies of future orders.
1.3 Handloom carpets Company is equipped with 10 looms of double as well as single width thru which we are achieving the target of about 10,000 SQM Handloom carpets per month.
1.4 Pit-looms
In order to cater to the needs of the younger generation consumers, Mayur Overseas have installed about 50 pit looms where in designer items like polyester and different textured Shaggy Rugs are being manufactured in the given sizes.
1.5 Bath-rugs We have about 25 bathmat manufacturing, single-needle and multi-needle machines where in bathmats are being produced in different styles and textures.
2 Dyeing facilities Mayur Overseas has a tie-up with the most sophisticated process-house where in it is capable of dyeing all kind of yarns in hank and cone shape as well as fabric dyeing also. Company is tuned to achieve any dyeing parameters, be it Light Fastness, Crocking, Dimensional Stability, PCP Testing, 00 Shrinkage etc. and for this, lab equipments from recognized manufacturers have been installed in the laborites at process house. The shade variation and the delta value of color are being monitored by Spectro-photo meters of Mc Bath, UK.
3 MAYUR SHOWROOM A theme based collections is released every season. Mayurs creative design show room for Carpets, Rugs, and other Home Accents and continuous interaction with a variety of Buyers with diverse nature of
businesses from different countries & cultures helps us in the on-going learning process to generate fresh design ideas.
We have a clientele of some of the reputed Stores in Europe and USA, Catalogue Companies, Design Houses, Importers/ Wholesalers worldwide.

7 Environment Management System MAYUR is committed towards the implementation of an effective environment management system in the process unit. We strive to continually improve and enhance the environment conditions preventing pollution by: Use of eco-friendly dyes & chemicals only Giving a healthy atmosphere to the workers at the factory with facilities of neat and clean water, wash rooms Not to employ any Child Labor as a matter of policy First Aid medical facilities available round the clock at the workplace Strict wastage control at every stage Rigid company standards to meet all Air, Water and Land pollution control measures
