    The School holidays are upon us, as well as daylight savings, Summer is nearly here. Come on into the office or phone, text or email, if you are in need of clothing we have clothing up to size 3.

    Courses and Events

    Taupo Parents Centre offers free comprehensive


    childbirth education courses to help you and your partner prepare for having a baby. Approximately 12 courses a year in Taupo and 6 courses in Turangi Each course is limited to twelve couples so book early! The childbirth education course covers: nutrition and exercise during pregnancy Labour signs and stages pain relief options and interventions the birth process and birth video informed decision making on vitamin K and immunizations breastfeeding and newborn care postnatal depression Course start dates for 2012: TAUPO, 7 evening sessions, 7-9pm. October 24th 27th & 28th October Weekend Course Nov 24th Jan 7th 2013 Jan 30th 2013

    We are in need of Committee members!!!!!!!


    What is involved in becoming a committee member? Committee members are people (Volunteers) who are involved in the decision making deciding what we are doing & how we are doing it. These people are sometimes the ones who are busy working during the day but still want to be involved in the helping so attending one meeting on the 3rd Friday of the month at 1pm. Thank you to all those that have donated clothing and baby items, without these we would be unable to help others.
