Story:
Ravi Hello Jon (jahn). They are new neighbors. This is Peter (pee-ter) and this is Rainy . They are new students at Abilene University. Hello Peter. Hello Rainy. I am Jon and this is my friend, James. We are classmates. Hi. This is our Mom, Becca (be-kah). She is a new Teacher. Hi Mrs. Becca. Hi Jon and Ravi. This is Takaiyo (tah-kai-yoh) and Mandy (maen-dee). They are workmates. Hi. I am the new art teacher. Miss. Mandy, what do you teach? I teach math. What grade are you in Jon? I am in the 5th grade. Pronouns:
In Thai the pronoun does not change when it is before or after a verb. But in English it changes to a different word. But the word before the verb and the one after the verb has the same meaning. English uses different words to tell who does the action of the verb (subject) and who receives the action (object).
