The Coca-Cola Company Brad Clemes Marketing Internship

Purpose of the Internship An opportunity for a university student (from three selected universities only) to explore the global component of the marketing arena with an emphasis on sustainability. Requirements

The internship is open to students from Wilfred Laurier University, Warwick University and King's College.

The internship will be based in London, but international travel will be a requirement. Applicants therefore must be able to travel to and from the UK at short notice without entry/exit restrictions.

Candidates will be considered regardless of their field of study but need to have completed at least one year of their degree programme.

Final selection of the successful candidate will be made by a Steering Committee who will review applications, CVs and essay submissions

The Internship The internship may provide the candidate an opportunity to travel to an international location depending on business need. Material and contents to be covered during the intenship in addition to Marketing: Sustainability, a critical topic across the Coca-Cola system. The candidates experience and interest will be considered in the placement decison, however, there will be a sustainability component to the internship (i.e. how does sustainability affect the Company financially, how does sustainability impact the Company's relationships with its bottlers, how is sustainability leveraged in our customer relationships etc)

The chosen candidate will also contribute to a team's effort by accomplishing related results as needed Competencies and Skills

Project Management - Manages projects to ensure successful delivery (on time, within budget, meeting agreed upon success criteria) by establishing clear goals and accountabilities; developing project plans and allocating resources; identifying potential issues/risks and developing contingency plans

Builds Sustainable relationships - establishes trust with constituents through proactive solutions development, delivery against commitments and honest, transparent communication.

Customer focus - Demonstrating understanding of how one's actions and/or work impact the Company's relationships with consumers

The chosen individual must be able to display cross cultural sensitivity and a willingness to embrace other cultures and alternative ways of thinking and achieving goals

This internship does not include financial support for housing, however a salary commensurate with experience will be offered

The duration of the internship is a maximum of three months Essay Titles : second stage in the application process (deadline for submission Wednesday 10th February 4.pm) Research and describe how Coca-cola has impacted sustainability in one of the following geographies: Canada, UK, Turkey, South Africa., Belgium and evaluate the Company's progress and/or Describe why you would be an ideal candidate for an internship at the Coca-Cola Company and how you will apply your experiences going forward.
