We are grateful that you have revealed who you really are and what master you have chosen to serve. Just another of the "Whores Galore" in America. We would not want to support an organization that does not put our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ first, above all else. I thank God we had a Pastor for 30+ years that would not bow to Baal or whore himself for money, and preached the fire and brimstone Bible truth no matter what the consequences. Please ask yourself one question? Why is it we have more Churches in this country than ever before, yet we have more sin than ever before. And more adultery, more rape, more homosexuality, more pedophiles, MORE SIN? The answer is crystal clear and it is found in 2 Timothy 4:3-4. "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths." I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; I wish that you were cold or hot. So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth.' Recently, on Scriptures for America's Live Church Service from the LaPorte Church of Christ, we have been broadcasting a series of messages on "The Law," and are currently sending them out on the CD and DVD Ministries. (The entire series on The Law is available on six CDs or DVDs, from Scriptures for America Ministry.) The following are just a few thoughts that are included in this series of messages. This series address the writings of Paul and how the modern, present-day, Judeo-Christian church uses those writings to falsely teach that God's Laws, Statutes and Judgments have been taken away and replaced with Grace. "They that forsake the law praise the wicked: but such as keep the law contend with them." Proverbs 28:4 Some may find the reporting of certain facts highly offensive, but it's time the offensive facts be presented along with the only solution to them, and that is God's Law! Many Christians are asking their God, "How long Lord, how long?" not realizing that maybe He's asking us the same thing. "How long, HOW LONG BEFORE YOU AGAIN IMPLEMENT MY LAWS, STATUTES AND JUDGEMENTS?" The truth of the matter is that these kinds of detestable things (such as blasphemy, homosexuality, bestiality, murder...etc.) which we are dealing with as a society will continue to increase and worsen until such time as society once again returns to God's Laws, Statutes and Judgments. The prevalence of these detestable things were not a problem in early America because the Christian citizens of that era implemented and enforced God's Law. As an example, consider the Massachusetts Colony's law on Blasphemy in 1641: "If any person shall Blaspheme the name of God, the Father, Son or Holy ghost, with direct, express, presumptuous or high handed blasphemies, or shall curse God in the like manner, HE SHALL BE PUT TO DEATH. "

This Law of the Massachusetts Colony was taken directly from the Law of God, as revealed in Leviticus 24:16 "And he that blaspheme the name of the Lord, HE SHALL SURELY BE PUT TO DEATH." Obviously in the earlier days of America, the Christian citizens believed God's Law was to be followed. And just as obvious today's modern Judeo-Christianity believes it should not only not be followed, but that it's contrary to us and against us and has been taken out of the way. The fruits of both teachings are also obvious. In the early days, America was not plagued with blasphemous acts or homosexuals or such, but today it can be said of the so-called Christian religion, just as Jeremiah said in Chapter 23 verses 14 and 22. "Also among the prophets of Jerusalem I have seen a horrible thing; the committing of adultery and walking in falsehood; and they strengthen the hands of evildoers, so that no one has turned back from his wickedness. All of them have become to Me like Sodom, and her inhabitants like Gomorrah. But if they had stood in My council, then they would have announced My words to My people, and would have turned them back from their evil way and from the evil of their deeds." GOD'S LAW IS TO BE THE LAW FOR THE CIVIL BODY POLITIC. If God is to be glorified and the Christian faith advanced, then His Laws must be enforced. Such was the belief of the early Christian Pilgrims, as evidenced from their writings and history. In the Mayflower Compact they wrote: "Having undertaken for the glory of God and the advancement of the Christian faith and honor of our King and country, a voyage to plant the first colony in the northern parts of

Virginia, do by these present solemnly and mutually in the presence of God and one another, covenant and combine ourselves together into a civil body politic .... " Those words were penned in 1620, and in 1642 history records how the Christian Pilgrims were true to those words. In that year, as a civil body politic, they dealt with the sin of bestiality. William Bradford tells the story: "From Book Chapter XXXII, Anno Dam: 1642 OF A Horrible CASE OF Bestiality. And after the time of the writing of these things befell a very sad accident of the like foul nature in this government, this very year which I shall now relate. There was a youth whose name was Thomas Granger. He was servant to an honest man of Duxbury, being about 16 or 17 years of age. (His father and mother lived at the same time at Scituate.) He was this year detected of buggery, and indicted for the same, with a mare, a cow, two goats, five sheep, two calves and a turkey. Horrible it is to mention, but the truth of the history requires it. It was first discovered by one that accidentally saw his lewd practice .... Being upon it examined and committed, in the end he not only confessed the fact with that beast at that time, but sundry times before and at several times with all the rest of the forenamed in his indictment. And this his free confession was not only in private to the magistrates (though at first he strived to deny it), but to sundry, both ministers and others; and afterwards, upon his indictment, to the whole Court and jury; and confirmed it at his execution. And whereas some of the sheep could not so well be known by his description of them, others with them were brought before him and he declared which were they and which were not. And accordingly he was cast by the jury and condemned, and after executed about the 8th of September, 1642. A very sad spectacle it was. For first the mare and then the cow and the rest of the lesser cattle were killed before his face, according to the law, Leviticus xx. 15 and then he himself was executed. The cattle were all cast into a great and large pit that was digged of purpose for them, and no use made of any part of them. Notice how these Christian people followed God's Law, as revealed in Leviticus 20:15 "If there is a man who lies with an ani-

mal, he shall surely be put to death; you shall also kill the animal." How do you think these people, as a civil body politic, would have dealt with the sin of homosexuality, when verse thirteen of this same chapter states: "If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their blood guiltiness is upon them." ? Leviticus 20:13 The answer is self evident. By implementing God's Law as a civil body politic, the government became the Godly government that Romans Chapter 13 describes and teaches that the Christian is to be obedient to and to support; A government that is A TERROR TO THE EVIL as a minister of God bearing the avenger and executioners sword. "For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? Do that which is good, and thou shall have praise of the same: For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain; for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon Him that doeth evil." Romans 13:3-4 In such a society Godly government becomes a terror to the evil doer because God's Laws, Statutes and Judgments' are enforced. When God's Laws are replaced with man's laws, the wicked evil doers prosper and the government becomes a terror to the good doer. As an example, in such a system the government will protect homosexuals and try to persecute and prosecute a minister for speaking out against homosexuality. When men replace God's Law with man's, the Bible calls it Baal worship. The ministers who pervert Romans Chapter 13 to teach obedience and submission to such a system are nothing more than Baal priests.

''And, although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them." Romans 1:32 For there to be order in a society there must be law. If it is God's law, then His order, called the Kingdom, prevails. If it is man's law, then man's order, called The New World Order, prevails. The first is the straight and narrow path that leads to life, and the latter is the broad path that leads to death (see Matthew 7:13-14 and Deuteronomy 30:19). For man's system (The New World Order) to prevail, God's law must be replaced with man's law, and this comes about through the role of the Baal priests (although they never go by that title or consider themselves as such). Such men teach that God's Law has been done away. And naturally, if God's Law on such subjects as blasphemy, bestiality or homosexuality has been done away, that leaves man in the position of making laws dealing with such social issues. HOW OUR LAWLESS SOCIETY DEALS WITH SUCH SIN, in comparison to the pilgrims enforcing God's Law against the sin of bestiality, our society's first concern would be for the animals. An animal rights group would band together to protect the animal from God's Law. Even if God's Law were considered, permits would have to be issued by the Humane Society and an Environmental Impact Study performed. Some would want to photograph the bestiality incident and then get a government grant to display it as art and freedom of expression. There would have to be hours of counseling given to the youth, as well as attorneys, all at tax payers' expense.

Naturally, if Christians were to express a concern about the matter they would be told, "It's a matter for the state." "Separation of church and state you know!" (Which is simply a battle cry in attacking and destroying God's Law.) Thus, the tax supported welfare juvenile divisions, youth counselors, lawyers, etc. will decide what to do, and if any Christian objects, the Baal priests will read Romans 13 and tell them to obey these so-called higher powers. Naturally, these welfare workers, counselors, and lawyers, etc., are not in favor of enforcing God's Law because to do so would eliminate clients, and put them out of work. The NEA would demand a government funded sex-education program for our schools on this subject (preferably to start in the first grade) and would want to include in the curriculum preventative measures that should be taken by those who choose this alternate life style, least hoof and mouth disease gets spread among humans. Many would see no reason for alarm just because some choose the alternate life style. Others would say people are born this way, and others would call it a victimless crime at most. Should a group of Christians oppose this alternate life style they would be called intolerant and bigots. Someone would propose the City Council pass an ordinance protecting the alternate life style people from discrimination by such bigots. Should a minister oppose the ordinance, he could be fined and prosecuted. The so-called Christian's only answer for this problem is Jesus. They say Jesus is the answer and we need to pray for these people. The end result is SIN (which is a transgression of God's Law, 1 John 3:4) increases. Such an increase seems to be in direct proportion to the increase in the number of Baal temples called churches which teach God's Law has been done away. HOW THE CHURCHES TEACH GOD'S LAW HAS BEEN DONE AWAY. The modern day Baal temples called JudeoChristian churches use or misuse certain portions of the Bible to eliminate God's Law. The length of this article will not allow us

to cover all the arguments in detail (this is being done on our series on "The Law," which we encourage you to order on CD or DVD). The churches teach that God's Law is contrary to us and against us and has been taken out of the way, nailed to the Cross. To support this position they use certain New Testament Scriptures, particularly those of the apostle Paul. "And regard the patience of our Lord to be salvation; just as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given him, wrote to you, as also in all his letters, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which the untaught and unstable distort, as their own destruction." 2 Peter 3:15- 16 Never do they quote any of Paul's writings that support God's Law, and there are many. In fact, there are thirty nine New Testament Scriptures that teach God's Law is still in force in comparison to only twenty seven New Testament Scriptures that could be construed to teach it's not in force. (In The Law series these Scriptures are shown to be in harmony.) Often the argument is as follows, and it's called rightly dividing the word and dispensational teaching. The lecturer frequently begins with 2 Timothy 2:15, and uses an explanation much like the following, and in the following fashion. The Bible is divided in two main divisions, The Old Testament and the New Testament. Many will then refer to the God of the Old Testament as a God of wrath, and the God of the New Testament as a God of love, as if God is schizoid and changes. Our God is the same today and forever, just read Malachi 3:6. The Bible can be divided into three dispensations. The first is known as the Patriarchal wherein God dealt with certain patriarchs such as Noah or Abraham. In this period God revealed a little light to men (star light era). The next dispensation is the Mosaic dispensation wherein God began to deal with the nation of the Jews. During this dispensation God gave more light and revelation to men (moon light era). It began at Mount Sinai when He, through Moses, gave the Jews the old Mosaic law. That law was against them and contrary to them because they

could not keep it perfectly. Thus He eliminated it in the Christian dispensation (which began at the cross) and replaced it with grace. Thus today God has opened salvation to the Gentiles and revealed full light (Sun light era) and we are saved by grace not by works lest any man should boast. Galatians chapter three teaches that the old Mosaic law was added and served simply as a school master to lead us to Christ, but now that Christ has come we are no longer under that schoolmaster. "And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect. But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. . .. Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith, But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster." Galatians 3:17, 23-25 KJV Now the danger of the above teaching is that parts are true and parts are not. Just as a little sugar helps the medicine go down, so does a little truth aid in the ingesting of poisonous falsehoods. The Old Testament, New Testament division of the Bible is a man made division. It is true the Bible can be divided and viewed in somewhat of a dispensational manner, divided out as explained, but this dispensational view in regard to the Law rests upon the lies of Baal priests and their false premises (which we cover in more detail in message #495, The Law, part 1 available on CD and DVD). First, the Law of God itself was never against us or contrary to us. "The law of the Lord is perfect, restoring the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple." Psalm 19:7 Second, God did not give His Law to a nation of Jews. He gave His Law to the nation of Israel. "He showeth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel. He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the Lord." Psalm 147:19-20

The Baal priests would lead the people to believe the term Jew and Israel are synonymous, which they are not, and that the word Gentile means non-Jew, which it does not. The Baal priests refer to Abraham, Moses, David, etc., as Jews when the Bible never does. Thirdly, and most importantly, the entire argument rests upon the belief that God's Law came onto the scene in the days of Moses at Mount Sinai and did not exist before then. Thus they can point to Galatians 3:17, which says the Law came 430 years after Abraham, and to Galatians 3:25, which teaches we are no longer under that which came 430 years after Abraham, i.e., the Law. The truth is that God's Law was in existence before Moses at Mount Sinai, and since it was in existence prior to Mount Sinai, then it was not God's Law, Statutes and Judgments which were added 430 years after Moses, and thus it is not God's Law, Statutes and Judgments that cease to exist now that faith has come through Christ (Galatians 3:25). When one proves that God's Laws, Statutes, and Judgments existed before Moses and Mount Sinai, the entire law logic carried on the back of dispensational teaching collapses. In message #495, (the first in our series on the Law of God, and available on CD or DVD), we go into detailed proof that it did in fact exist before the days of Moses. Genesis 26:5 states clearly that Abraham knew of God's Law and kept it: "Because Abraham obeyed Me and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes and My laws." Noah was aware of God's food laws concerning clean and unclean animals (Genesis 7:2). In Genesis 9:6 God's Law and Judgments concerning murder was in existence. In Genesis 38:24 one reads how Judah was aware of God's Law, revealed in Leviticus 21:9, centuries before Leviticus 21:9 was written by Moses. King Hammurabi's Law Code (1728 BC) was amazingly similar to

God's Law. Why? Because God's Law was in existence even then and the King's code was in great part patterned after it. This observation has been made by many scholars. "Students of the Bible are especially interested in the comparison of Hammurabi's code with the Mosaic legislation of the Bible. There are many similarities. In both a false witness is to be punished with the penalty he had thought to bring upon the other man. Kidnapping and house-breaking were capital offenses in both codes. Both agree in prescribing the death penalty for adultery. The principle of retaliation upon which a number of Hammurabi's laws were based is vividly stated in Exodus 21:2325. How are these similarities to be explained? It is obvious that Hammurabi's could not have borrowed from Moses, for the Hebrew lawgiver lived several centuries after the Babylonians. Direct borrowing in the other direction also seems very unlikely. Most scholars today agree that the similarities are to be explained by the common background of the Hebrews and Babylonians. Both were Semitic peoples inheriting their customs and laws from their common ancestors.'" The truth of the matter is, God's Laws, Statutes and Judgments' existed in the Patriarchal dispensation, in the Mosaic dispensation and still exists in the Christian dispensation. That it exists today Jesus made clear when he said, "Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill." Matthew 5:17 By the way, the word "fulfill" is #4137 in Strong's and does not mean to put away, abolish or to end; check it out yourself. There was something added 430 years later at Mount Sinai but it was not God's Law, Statutes and Judgments. Yes, the Apostle Paul did write about law and grace and justification and that which was contrary to us, but our early forefathers knew what was being taught and that the Law is still in force and is to be followed.

In the series on The Law we examine Paul's writings and that which was added 430 years after Abraham and subsequently done away with in Christ! That God's Laws, Statutes and Judgments' are not being applied by our civil body politic is evident in the growing sin, filth, perversion and blasphemy that is filling our land. How long will it go on? How much more Talmudic sewage must we endure all depends upon when we, as a people, repent and turn back to God's Law. It is imperative that we as a society turn back to God's Law, or else even more difficult times lay ahead for us. For when man's law and order says it's against the rules to follow God's Law, history shows it then is only a matter of time before someone begins to break the rules. Ezekiel 13:18 compels me to conclude with a warning to the lawless, the perverts, the blasphemers, etc. The Law of God is still in existence and will again be enforced, so repent while you still can! "The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all STUMBLING BLOCKS, AND THOSE WHO COMMIT LAWLESSNESS, and will cast them into the furnace of fire; in that place there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth." One of the problems we face in our Christian walk today (perhaps one of the larger problems) is that there are so many distractions designed to reduce our thoughtfulness on Godly things. One of these is a form of political activism. Now being active in your community and standing for God, following his commandments, laws, and being for Christian morality is not what we are talking about. Those are good and Godly ideals and principles. We need more of them and more people getting them out there. What we really need is the Spirit of the Lord, Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is Liberty. II Corinthians 3:17 NASV. If we want a Christian nation we need to get the Spirit of the Lord there. The distraction comes in when we get bogged down in the cares of this old world, the devil really is in the details when they become our focus. I like to call it political activism, mostly because politics are what I consider a huge quagmire of deceit and misdirection. I pray people would put in as much time and effort for their Lord and Savior as they do for that politician that believes he knows everything. It seems like the politicians are setting themselves up as gods. Many of us feel pressure, and frustration because things are not moving in the right direction. I know I was there, too, and still have to guard against it. We may join a group, there are many. We get to write letters, phone professional politicians, sign petitions, pay dues, demonstrate, sign pledges, and recruit new members. Sadly, nothing ever really changes, especially in the high level political world. Our Pastor called it the "DC TwoStep." The truth is, what a large number of these groups attempt to replace is your church and body of believers! For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ; Philippians 3:20.

The word citizenship is Strong's 4175 meaning a form of government. Philippians 3:21 goes on to say, who will transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory. This is the true juxtaposition of God's Kingdom plan. Could it be the way things are being done politically now, that the horse is being led by the cart? My grandfather used to have a saying, doing it this way is like trying to push a log chain up the road. Our Pastor often explained the two teachings of passages like the above, as the exoteric meaning is obvious and the esoteric meaning is hidden; the actual Greek means from within. I believe the word state is also talking about government just like the word citizenship that is the secondary teaching. The word wait is also there. Many of us don't feel like we are accomplishing much, so we join up with these groups that require so much, because we don't want to wait on the Lord. Many of these groups seem to have a symbiotic relationship with the regulatory and political groups they seem to oppose. The political action group would cease to be necessary if any lasting and positive result could be accomplished, but alas as soon as an objective is realized within a few weeks another just like it seems to pop up. The real question is what benefit do the politicians receive from the action groups? It is just a thought that has occurred to me, I suspect they receive demographic info. To the antichrist forces information is a god they will sacrifice to, it grants them power and like a general in any military campaign, it allows them to strategize more successfully without wasted effort. Political action groups can also vector or change your focus, even if ever so slightly, as time goes by, the change will become greater and

greater. They also act as a relief valve allowing Christians to vent their frustration in a way that may not be as God intended. As believers we are told to cry out to God. Now shall not God bring about justice for his elect, who cry to Him day and night, will He delay long over them? I tell you that He will bring about justice for them speedily. However, when the Son of Man comes will he find the faith on the earth? Luke 18:7-8 NASV The faith of Jesus Christ requires His perspective, not ours, and it can be a struggle for us sometimes but we are to strive for it. Recently there was a press release that the Democratic Convention was going to put God back in their platform. It seems the demographics showed they were losing some potential voters by leaving this God-fellow off their platform....how magnanimous of them. Just like the Democratic Party, many political action groups put God in when it suits them, and when they are done with His 'commercial' use they will just put him out. The Bible refers to this as a form of godliness. Holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; and avoid such men as these. II Timothy 3:5 It would seem apparent that when God's people become distracted or misdirected, then God's judgments are slowed down. The reason is, we are petitioning the wrong court for redress of our grievances. Luke 18:7-8 says he will bring about justice for them speedily. We spend a lot of time and effort in the wrong direction and then we don't understand why there is no lasting change. Pastor Peters always used to say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome. There are ways to be constructively active for the furthering of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ: 1. Seek first the kingdom of God. But seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6:33 NASV 2. Family. It is very difficult in these times to keep our home lives on an even keel, but if you can't even help your own family,

how is it that you think you are ready to overcome the world? I cannot tell you how many leaders of action groups I have known, who try to change things, while their own family went to hell in a hand basket. What a sad epitaph for what should have been one of their first concerns. It is a sad reality we can't all have problem free homes and family lives but those problems are as old as the garden. We certainly need to be in prayer for the protection of those we serve and love. My grandmother gave me a plaque when I was a small boy the verse on it was In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths. Proverbs 3:6 KJV Proverbs chapters 3-6 has some fantastic parental advice. 3. Become a fully prepped Christian. I certainly believe in physical preparedness and even more so in the realm of the spirit, in my mind you really can't separate the two they travel in lockstep. The spirit is the more enduring of the two and the more powerful! Real power becomes evident when the two are in unison. For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ, and we are ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is complete. II Corinthians 10:3-6 4. Fear Not. And He said, 'See to it that you be not misled; for many will come in my name, saying, 'I am He,' and, 'The time is at hand'; do not go after them. And when you hear of wars and disturbances, do not be terrified; for these things must take place first, but the end does not follow immediately." Luke 21:8-9 Fears cause us to be paralyzed and stressed; we are then easier to mislead. Terrified people tend to reach out to any authority figure who promises them a way out.

5. Put on the full armor of God. Learn to use all the weapons both defensive and offensive He has given us. This includes the equipping of the saints: baptism, communion, prayer, fasting, imprecatory prayer. Therefore take up the full armor of God, that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. Stand firm therefore, HAVING GIRDED YOUR LOINS WITH TRUTH, AND HAVING PUT ON THE BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, and having shod YOUR FEET WITH THE PREPERATION OF THE GOSPEL OF PEACE; in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming missiles of the evil one, and take the THE HELMET OF SALVATION, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Ephesians 6:13-17 NASB 6. Actively participate in a body of believers. Where two or three are gathered together God says he is in their midst. Some make the mistake of thinking they will go to their local church and change it for God's glory, but that is another battle, not a renewal of mind and spirit. When we worship in unison with other believers we receive an opportunity to recharge, refresh, reconnect, and rest. 7. Faith. Fear and Faith are adversarial, you have one or the other there is no vacuum in this regard. When fear rules it is like the dark side and it will dominate your path. Fear causes powerless and distraught workers in the faith because it continually plants the seeds of doubt about everything. Faith is the antithesis of fear. It causes the perceived reality of what we are using our faith in Jesus Christ to accomplish to become visible. Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. For by it the men of old gained approval. By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible. Hebrews 11:1-3 NASB When we hold both faith and fear at the same time we are in a dialectical position, nothing happens. I will rephrase that

nothing good happens. The old adage that comes to mind is paralyzed with fear. You are left with the inability to do any works. But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed. AND DO NOT FEAR THEIR INTIMIDATION, AND DO NOT BE TROUBLED, I Peter 2:14 NASB Our reality can literally be changed on a planetary scale by our faith and the works it produces! There is another thought that occurs to me as I look at the upcoming election circus. It seems obvious that we have no choice in the upcoming election, you can pick your poison arsenic or cyanide they will both have the same damaging effects, just in different ways. I think it passes strange that when I talk to people and say I don't see why you even bother to vote they are irritated with me. The response is usually along the lines of, well if you don't vote you don't have any right to complain about what happens. How laughable and eccentric is that? Do you really believe that the rigged voting machines, manipulated conventions, controlled debates, and broken promises if not outright lies of the candidates give you any power at all? So why is it so terribly vital to get out the vote? I think we need to look at this whole process as a covenant situation, with our leaders. When you cast a ballot for them you are negotiating their right to rule over you. It is an interesting note that the oldest form of signatory consent is an x, also x in some instances can be considered a symbol for destruction, there is also an affirmation oath involved in the vote. Now that the case has been made for voting/choosing being an agreement of terms, it would seem to me that the only ones who truly have a right to complain are the ones being ruled over who didn't vote for either evil. Much as the Israelites in Joshua 9 made a covenant with the Gibbeonites and had to honor it, even though they were tricked. Many people today enter into the same mind-trick of choosing the lesser of two evils. When we cry out for relief to

God, we must first realize we placed ourselves in the situation voluntarily by choosing that group/individual. And if it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served which were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Joshua 24:15 NASB You have more choices than you might think! In the same way then, there has also come to be at the present time a remnant according to God's gracious choice. Romans 11:5

Being Content
As a mother of small children, being content is not always something I do as I should. Sometimes the, Mommy where are we going? eight times in a row, or the muddy paw prints on the floor when I'm pretty sure I said NOT to let the dog in the house, can be a little hard on my kind, patient outlook. But then sometimes I stop and look around and am filled with such sadness when you see so many women my age (twenties) who have no real contentedness, the true peace of heart that comes from the love of our Lord Jesus Christ. They live their lives separated from Him and the calling we have to fear God and keep His commandments," because this applies to every person. Ecclesiastes 12:13. Many do not realize there is no true peace, joy, or contentment separated from Him and serving self. We can serve no greater Master. He says, Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. There is indescribable joy in a duty done to please our Lord. Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13 It becomes a great challenge to work every day, to lay down my life for the Lord, my husband and children. I have to wonder, is it so hard a choice? Why aren't they afraid? It is scary to live without the Lord. Yes, there is certainly testing in this life. I am reminded of a saying I often quote to myself though I'm not sure where it came from, it says, It's not about here, and it's not about now. We are told in Scripture; "As for the days of our life, they contain seventy years, Or if due to strength, eighty years, Yet their pride is but labor and sorrow; For soon it is gone and we fly away. Psalms 90:10 Seventy or eighty years, that seems like such a pitifully short amount of time compared to eternity. But it seems they say, Hey I've only got a few years, I want to live and be happy."

Being Content
Not understanding that it is sin, and it only brings pain and suffering, not only to themselves but to those who love them. But this in some ways they must know at times, because when they call to see how you are doing and I tell them, I'm just living the dream, they give a self-conscious laugh because they know I've got Him and am indeed living my dream, striving to run the race; the race that is set before me. Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. Ecclesiastes 12:12-14 And this way finding the greatest content and peace in my soul from our Lord Jesus Christ.

Hear us, oh Lord our God. Hear the cries from our heart. For I discern the sky and see the storm coming. I see the tumult and the destruction of Your people. I see the decadence in our streets and it is always before our eyes. Yet Lord, Your people have not repented. They have not turned from their wicked ways nor will they without Your hand. Fall upon us Lord in Your love for us. Chastise us in Your desire to see Your bride chaste and pure. Lord God of Israel, hear our cry. For there are yet a few that seek Your face. Yet a few that have no desire to kiss nor bow a knee before baal, that have no desire to see our land, our nation, our people fall in the hand of the wicked. But Lord, Your hands are just and righteous. They will restore that which the locust has eaten and the canker worm has devoured. But Lord, Your people are a stiff necked people and I fear us falling into the hands of a righteous God. For Lord, we are certainly worthy of destruction. But be gracious to us Father and in Your wrath remember mercy. It is Thy wrath Lord that will save Your people, Your name sake, Israel. For as King David said to the prophet, I am in a great strait: let us fall now into the hand of the LORD; for His mercies are great: and let me not fall into the hand of man. For our people have set up kings and princes over us that are not of Your people. Leaders that call upon other gods, that love not Your law nor Your ways. For Your people honor thieves, fornicators, adulterers, murderers, liars, gossips and sexual perverts, and they call it good. Your people Lord have perverted Your Word and Your Law so that Your body the Church is no longer recognizable. Lord, your Word says judgment begins at the house of God. Yes Lord, let it be so. For that judgment will be judgment unto the righteous and judgment unto the wicked. The righteous, their reward and protection and the wicked, their reward and destruction, and for the lukewarm let them be spewed out of Your mouth. Father, our people are dying with the diseases and plagues of Egypt. Our children Lord are fatherless, men are becoming no more. Woman have turned from seeking Your face. We Lord are in the bondage of iniquity. The yoke is heavy and growing heavier. The cost of sin is devouring us.

Surely Lord, we Your people will be lost except You intervene. Raise up men that will say, NO MORE! Raise up prophets as of old that will speak your Word and walk in Your power. Raise up men that will walk in the power of healing and restoration. But also Lord, raise up men that will walk in Your power as our father Elijah did so that we might be of like spirit and passions that we cry out that it not rain and that You our Lord will withhold the rain because of our fervent prayer. Raise up men that will walk in the evidence of Your power by speaking "be healed in the Name of Jesus Christ" and have it be so. For Jesus' power and authority was evidenced by His healing and miracles. Oh Lord, where are your miracles of old? Raise up men that will walk at the leading of the Holy Spirit that will invoke fear upon the enemy. That will speak destruction unto the wicked and the enemies of God. Raise up men that will not back down from the battle but will stand upon the front line singing praises unto the living God. Raise up men like David that will stand before the giant and say: The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. 1 Samuel 17:37 KJV Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.
