Helpful Information The HERB 204 SL complete bike is build around our original HERB 204 aftermarket frame using only parts which are durable and the lightest of their class.
The suspension is based on Rock Shoxs Vivid R2C shock and the air sprung Boxxer Worldcup R2C2 fork. The drivetrain is provided by Sram and features a silencing Type2 derailleur. Finally we put the bike on in house assembled wheels, using the super wide and light ZTR Flow EX rim with DT Swiss Competition Spokes and a mix of superlight DT Swiss 240 and Sram X0 hubs. On the rims you have famous Maxxis Highroller II in 42a with DH casing. Please have a look at our web shop for the full list of available custom options. Helpful Information The HERB 204 (V5) is compatible with standard type chain devices and front chainrings from 32T to 44 T. In addition it is possible to use our genuine chain device which mounts directly to the swing arm. The frame can be used with 157 mm rear wheels. In this configuration there are slots to accomodate the hub and make the installment very easy. If you already own a 150 mm wheels set, which you want to run, then you can use a special spacer on the disc brake side and a different derailleur eye. Fox shocks fit with the frame as well.

Remarks The geometry of the HERB 204 (V5) was changed compared to the previous HERB DH (V4) version, now offering lower bottom bracket height , an open steering angle of 63,5 and all sizes have become a slightly longer front. The head angle is adjustable within +/- 0,5. The adjustment affects the bottom bracket height, which varies from 12 to 16 mm above the axle. Due to our kinematics the frame is typically ridden with a little more sag than other bikes, which will lead to an effective lower bottom bracket height (geometry values always show the state without sag).
