Kick-off Meeting Report

Page 1 of 2 Prior to each individual Newbuilding project a kick-off meeting between the Surveyor and the shipbuilder (It is higly recommended to invite also the main subcontractors.) has to take place to discuss the items listed below. The meeting has to take into account the shipbuilders construction facilities and ship type and deal as well with subcontractors if it is known that the builder proposes to use them. A record of the meeting is to be made using this specific GL Form. This record has to be kept updated as relevant circumstances are changing during construction process. NDT is carried out by qualified operators capable of ensuring that welds are substantially free from significant indicators. Agree on treatment of serious nonconformities. Remarks:
