ORGANISATIONAL DETAILS
Since Jul10 at GVK Coal (Tokisud) Pvt. Ltd., Ranchi as Dy. Manager Key Deliverables: Responsible for resettlement and rehabilitation activities of Green field project in district Hazaribagh, Jharkhand. Ensuring participatory approach for R&R activities and rehab benefits. Co-coordinated SIA of the project affected villages through independent consultancy firm i.e XISS, Ranchi. Undertaking a detailed needs analysis and assessment in consultation with then affected households through PRA exercise & other modes so as to map their existing skills as well as identify alternative livelihood preferences and options. Obtaining individual options for Rehab house or lump sum amount (as per Jharkhand R & R Policy) of each would be displaced villagers. Facilitating welfare of displaced families and due grievance, employment, and rehab of displaced families. Conducted employment survey of the project affected families as per Jharkhand R & R Policy. Responsibility of setting up dispensary at R&R Colony. Responsibility of Shifting of existing schools to newly constructed school at R&R colony. Arrangement of training to the project affected families. Responsible for the implementation of integrated rural development programs in line with the groups intention and ideology of pursuing growth within a framework of sustainable development. Key Highlights: Prepared: o A village profile along with the PAP profile for all the affected villages through a door to door census survey of all project affected households using a structured interview schedule and PRA exercise (Social Mapping). o A detailed Socio Economic Study of Project Affected Families (households) who are termed as PAF. A rehabilitation Action Plan also needs to be prepared as per Jharkhand R&R policy 2008. o A comprehensive 05 years community development plan based on sustainable development for the displaced families & project affected villages under cooperate social responsibility Carried out a social impact assessment in the Performa duly approved by the concerned District Collectors in pursuance to JRRP-2008 issued by Government of Jharkhand. Obtained the details of the entire infrastructure including all common property resources in the project influence areas. Jul08-Jul10 at Lafarge India Pvt. Ltd., Janjgir- Champa as Dy. Manager (World leader in construction materials, Lafarge holds top-ranking positions in all four of its business Divisions: Cement, Aggregates & Concrete, Roofing and Gypsum.) Key Deliverables:

Responsible for the implementation of integrated rural development programs in line with the groups intention and ideology of pursuing growth within a framework of sustainable development. Developed the CSR road-map for the unit Conceptualized, implemented and sustained new CSR initiatives in Health, Education & Employability. Conducted researches with the help of social workers of Synergy (a consultancy Firm) to identify the need-gaps in various areas Identified opportunities to enhance the image of the Company by associating with certain social activities being conducted. Carried out field based feasibility studies on new projects using different tools like base line survey, PRA, FGD, etc. Liaisoned with prospective collaborative partners (Govt. Agencies, CMO, Bank functionaries, Funding organization and NGOs) for taking up innovative rural development programs at village level. Maintained MIS and document case studies, newsletters, program materials, project reports related to all programs. Key Highlights: Collaborated with CAP foundation for training 100 village youths in various trades like ITES, sales & marketing, electrician and automobile. In addition to these we are running computer classes in four schools in collaboration with Datamation Foundation. Nov06-Jul08 at Mawana Sugar Works, Meerut as Asst. manager (Mawana Sugars Ltd is one of the biggest sugars industries of western UP. It is an agro-based company and has direct linkages with the communities.) Key Deliverables: Managed Village Information Centers located in villages near the Nanglamal Plant. Organized health Camps, Urdu classes, Non Formal Education classes etc. as well as different training programs for animators, communities and project staff. Monitored all social development programs at Unit level & followed-up of KG activity. Accountable for implementation of project, development of case studies, etc. Sep03-Nov06 at Ambuja Cement Foundation, Bathinda (Punjab) as Field Officer (An NGO, which has been actively involved in integrated and sustainable rural community development at 13 locations in 9 states) Key Deliverables: Provided data to operational teams, through effective communication tools and information in Preparation of qualitative and quantitative MIS report for all programmes. Managed the bills & financial affairs of Community. Instituted change in over all strategy of program implementation-Long term planning, totality (holistic) approach, more synergy with local bodies, government, and other NGOs and technical support from resource agency.
