GENERAL RULES

1. The General Rules shall apply to ALL PARTICIPATING SCHOOLS. 2. Each player must present their school I.D. and/or Registration (photocopy) form before the game starts. For those schools without I.D.s or registration forms available, certification from the school that they are enrolled for the semester will suffice. If the player fail to show his I.D. and registration form, he is not allowed to play for his team. 3. The tournament is strictly for enrolled law students only.
4. Complete lists of players should be given before the first game for that scheduled day starts. Only those player listed in the rooster of player are allowed to

play. 5. Each team will be given five (5) minutes to warm up before the first game for the day begins. 6. The referee shall be judge of the game and shall decide when it is in play. 7. Forfeiture: A team that fails to appear on the playing court Ten (10) minutes (non-extendible) after the scheduled match will be declared in default. Likewise, if a team fails to fill the required number of players at the start and/or fails to finish the game incomplete will also be declared in default. A team that walks-out during a game will be declared in default/forfeiture. The opponent of the team that walks out will automatically be declared in default. All teams are required to be in the playing venue and ready to play at least 10 minutes before their scheduled games. 8. Cheating: Any form of cheating is not allowed. If cheating is detected, this must be reported to the game committee immediately. The team that has a cheater will be disqualified from the entire game. If a team is in any way interfering with another team while they play or prepare to the game they will be disqualified. Preparation is defined as, but not limited to; practice games and/or planning. 9. Any violation of the general or specific rule will be a ground for outright disqualification of the team 10. 11. Consortium Team is only allowed in the tournament of football. Improper behavior

a. Any physical fighting of any form will be a ground for disqualification of both teams. b. Any form of interference from other school players which is not participating in that particular match will be disqualified from the whole tournament. 12. The period for protest will be accepted until two (2) days before the awarding. 13. Decision for protest will be decided by the NCR ALSP board and referees. 14. This tournament encourages camaraderie and sportsmanship among participating NCR law schools.

BASKETBALL RULES

1. FIBA rules will be applied during the game. 2. Team is to be composed of Twenty (20) players maximum. 3. Tournament format will be a single round robin. 4. Teams will be divided into Four (4) brackets. Drawing of lots will determine the bracketing of teams. This will be done by the organizing committee. 5. Games shall be played in Four (4) quarters of Ten (10) minutes each quarter. In case of a tie at the end of the regulation period, a Two (2) minute extension will be given. 6. One time-out for the first Three (3) quarters and Two (2) time-outs for the fourth quarter will be given to a team. 7. All players should wear their respective team uniform while playing (same color for shirts). 8. Top Two (2) teams of each bracket after elimination round will face-off in the Quarter Finals. A1 vs B2 B1 vs C2 C1 vs D2 D1 vs A2

Winners will face-off for the Semi-Finals the Finals. Losing team in the Semi-Finals will still face-off for placing and points. 9. In case of any tie of two teams in a bracket, win over the other will apply. If there are will be triple tie in a bracket, quotient system will be used. 10. If a team defaulted in a game, the winning team receives 50 pts.

VOLLEYBALL RULES

1. Team is to be composed of Twelve (12) players maximum. 2. Tournament format will be a single round robin. 3. Teams will be divided into brackets. The number of bracket will depend on the number of participating schools. 4. In case where there are Two (2) brackets, top Two (2) of each bracket will face-off for the Semi-Finals. But for Four (4) brackets, teams will be having Quarter Finals, Smi-Finals and Finals. 5. Matches are played in best-of-three sets. (25-25-25) 6. Teams shall have the option to have a libero in their line-up. 7. All players should wear their respective team uniform while playing (same color for shirts). 8. FiVB rules will be applied during the game.

FOOTBALL (SEVEN-A-SIDE) RULES


1. Teams will consist of seven players plus 'roll on/roll off' substitutes. 2. Normal football rules apply except the following :

a. No Offside b. No back-pass rules c. No sliding tackles. d. Throw-ins should be taken 'two-handed'. e. There is no 'head-height' rule. f. Penalty kicks should be taken from a distance of 8 yards. g. Opposition players must retreat 3 yards from a free kick. h. There are no restrictions regarding players entering either penalty area during open play.

3. The two touches rule is strictly implemented in cases only of a goal kick, throw-ins, and kick-off.

4. Matches should be of 10 minutes per half and no half-time. Total time for each match is 20 minutes.

5. The goal area should be taken to be a semi-circle with a radius of 10 yards from the centre of the goal. The goal-keeper may not handle the ball outside this area, although all players may enter it.

6. If team members fail to turn up within 5 minutes of the arranged start time the match must commence with whatever players are present or the match is scratched. A minimum of five players is required; otherwise the match will be forfeited.

The game format will be round-robin.

8. Three points are awarded for a win, one point for a draw and 0 point for a lose.

9. The Top 4 teams will play in the semi final games. Rank 1 team will play against the Rank 4 Team and the rank 2 team will play against the rank 3 team to determine who will play in the battle for championship and battle for 3rd place position. Whoever wins in these matches will play in the championship game and the losing teams will play in the battle for 3 rd place. In the event of a tie, the game will be decided by a golden goal (extension of 5 minutes). In case the time allotted for the golden goal has lapsed, the game will be decided by free kick.

TABLE TENNIS RULES


1. Team is per category.

Singles (Men) Singles (Women) Doubles (Men) Doubles (Women) Mixed 2. A double elimination format will be used for the tournament. 3. Drawing of lots will be used to determine the matches. 4. Match will be best-of-three sets. 5. Rally point system will be used. Scoring will be up to Eleven (11) points per set. In case of deuce, first to make two (2) points win. 6. Players must bring their own paddle or racket. 7. ITTF rules will be applied.

GRAPPLING RULES

1. No unsportsmanlike conduct will be allowed. You may be disqualified or ejected for unsportsmanlike conduct. The referees will be shown maximum respect at all times. Their decisions are final and will not be overturned.

2. No striking, biting, eye gouging (includes chin to eye), head butting, small joint manipulation (finger or toe locks), hair pulling, grabbing the windpipe, or ear pulling will be permitted.

3. No slamming allowed. Illegal slamming will be defined as slamming your opponent to escape submissions and/or to pass the guard; or standing from the guard and/or jumping from a standing position to slam your opponent. Slamming will result in an automatic DQ. There are no exceptions to this rule. Takedowns are NOT considered slams, but you must deliver your opponent safely to the mat.

4. No infectious skin diseases (such as ringworm, staph, and MRSA) or open wounds will be permitted. No lubricants, oils, or lotions of any kind will be permitted on any part of the body or clothing.

5. Competitors will be allowed to continue grappling anywhere on the matted area, provided they dont interfere with another match. If the competitors near the edge of the mat, they will be restarted from the same position, unless the referee is unable to duplicate the position for any reason. In case the referee is unable to duplicate the position, the competitors will restart from a standing position.

6. If a competitor flees the ring when a submission is locked in and the competitor is obviously fleeing to avoid submission, he or she will be automatically disqualified.

Note: ALSP Organizers reserves the right to expand or combine divisions to accommodate competitors.

1. Team is per category. Singles (Men) Singles (Women) 2. 100 m for every entry. 3. Best time will determine the ranking/ place.

DOTA RULES
1. Players must be a student of representing school. Each player must show his/ her school ID and registration form. 2. Game must be in Captain Mode or CM. 3. No Backdoor, except to creeps. 4. Map to be used is 6.64 b 5. Toss coin to determine who will pick first 6. No skill abuse e.g. Raigor using skill to block pathway 7. There will be 5 Number of Players in every game. 8. Each team in the game must have a unique clan tag, each member on the team must have the same tag so we can separate the teams from each other. This means that if your clans name is ALSP, all clanmembers must have the same prefix. 9. Any form of cheating or exploitation of bugs is not allowed. If cheating is detected, this must be reported to the game committee immediately. The team that has a cheater will be disqualified from the entire competition. If a team is in any way interfering with another team while they play or prepare to the game they will be disqualified. Preparation is defined as, but not limited to; sleep, practice games and/or planning.

COUNTER STRIKE RULES


a. BASIC RULES: Players: 5 vs. 5 Winning: The first clan that has highest score within 30 minutes will win the match. To determine their team, toss coin will be followed. Time per round: 30 minutes Game play: Single elimination in all the preliminary rounds until there are 4 teams left. b. MAP: All rounds - de_dust2

c. PLAYERS: Only players that are registered on the team are allowed to play. Players must show their school ID and registration form to the committee every start of the game. d. DELAYS and MISSING PLAYERS : If one or both teams are missing a player, they will have 5 minutes to get their player in after the scheduled start-time. If one or both teams do not have all players in game within 5 minutes, the team with most players in game will win. If both teams have the same number of players in game, the game will begin and the rest of the players can join as they are ready. If they do not show up, the game will be played as normal. e. DROPOUTS: If one or more players drop out of the game, the game must be paused. The team then has 5 minutes to get the player ingame again. The teams are allowed to get a reserve in the game, but if the team is not complete within 5 minutes. The other team can claim victory. Only one pause per team per match.

f. SERVER: Game servers will be hosted and given out by the game crew. Server will be up in pure mode. Information on server configuration can be given if wanted. In semi-finals and towards finals the game crew will control the servers. g. SERVER FAILURE: If the server crashes during a game the server will be restarted. h. SPECTATORS: The only spectator that is allowed is the game committee i. ASIAN PARLIAMENTARY DEBATE RULES

DEBATE MECHANICS

I. THE DEBATE ORGANIZING COMMITTEE The Debate is administered by a Committee comprising of representatives from the ALSP Representatives (mobile # 09235040864). The Committee shall have the following functions and powers: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. Organize the competition; Administer the rules to govern the competition; Amend the rules when necessary; Interpret the rules; Invite the adjudicators; Determine the debate motions to be used in the competition; Sole discretion to respond to any request for clarification, if it deems necessary; and 8. Disqualify or penalize teams for violation of the rules. II. REGISTRATION
Also note that there are only six (6) slots and it will be filled up on a first-comefirst-served basis.

III.ELIGIBILITY AND PARTICIPATION A. Eligibility: Any school who confirmed on or before the deadline set by the Organizing Committee. The participating school is only allowed to

send one delegation to the Competition composed of three team members, a coach, and an adjudicator.
B. Participation: A person can be a member of the team if he or she is

a: Bona Fide student1 of the participating institution. IV. THE PAIRING PROCEDURES

The pairing of teams for the elimination rounds, as Government or Opposition, shall be conducted through a random draw. The result of the random draw will be announced in advance. A team shall be declared in default if it fails to appear before the opening program start. The Committee has the power to adjust the team pairings in situations of contingencies.

V. PROCEDURES FOR THE ELIMINATION AND FINAL ROUNDS A. The Elimination Rounds: All the participating institutions that signified its intention to be part of the competition shall participate in the sudden death elimination rounds. The elimination rounds will be conducted utilizing different motions. B. The Final Round: The winning teams in the elimination rounds will compete against each other in the single round robin final round on the same day. The teams side shall be determined by a toss coin. The winner of the toss gets to select which side they want to argue. VI. INTERPRETATION OF RULES

The Committee has the absolute discretion to resolve any question(s) concerning the interpretation of the rules. VII. SCORING FOR THE ORAL ROUNDS

Each round shall be adjudged by at least three adjudicators. VIII. TABULATORS The Committee shall designate the Tabulation Team for the entire competition.
