INTRODUCTION:
Bullying is the use of force or coercion to abuse or intimidate others. The behavior can be habitual and involve an imbalance of social or physical power. It can include verbal harassment or threat, physical assault or coercion and may be directed repeatedly towards particular victims, perhaps on grounds of class, race, religion, gender, sexuality, appearance, behavior, or ability. Bullying may also be defined as the activity of repeated, aggressive behavior intended to hurt another person, physically or mentally. Bullying is characterized by an individual behaving in a certain way to gain power over another person. The victim of bullying is sometimes referred to as a "target". In every school there is at least one bully. Someone who thinks they are more powerful than most. Someone who puts other down to make themselves bigger. Bullies exist not because they are bigger or stronger or bigger or cooler or better, but because they make people think they are all of these things. In reality, bullies are just regular kids looking for attention and a way to feel important. A new study says that, if you're a teen today, you're one of many who are on the giving or receiving end of bullying. And the younger teens have it worse. Almost a third of teens, in fact, either are bullies or are bullied, a new study of 16,000 students found. This study shows different factors why the teens involved in this situation whether if they are the bully or the victim. This research represents that the youth generation of today is indeed different in the way of social interaction. Thus, this research implies that bullying highly impacted the lives of teenagers today.
HYPOTHESIS:
Bullying can be noticed and can be experienced in every school. Every student is prone in this case or situation and only themselves had a choice if they will become the bully or the victim of bully.
MAJOR PROBLEMS:
The major problem in the bullying case is because the doer of the said case in our present is most often a child. In this case we can see that the often victims is a just a child. Therefore, the victims may be scared to tell the truth in their teachers and parents. As time passed by, a lot of bullies case is growing in a way that we cannot see, but now at least there are bully cases that are solved. In my opinion the main problem in this case is the lack of guidance of parents to their child, so the child is looking for attention by seeing them in BULLYING.
student at school, or it might be behavior that has been directed at the individual for a long period of time. The implications for all students: It is also important to note that bullying is not just about the implications for those targeted by the behaviors, but that the behavior can impact all students in the school, including those who witness the behavior and those that engage in the behavior.
Additional factors: these can include; the differentiation between bullying and harassment, enumeration of protected classes, statements around the use of technology, how the behavior impacts educational performance and the physical locations that would fall under the jurisdiction of school sanctions. A basic guideline for your child is this: Let the child know that if the behavior [of another student] hurts or harms them, either emotionally or physically, its bullying.
