Since the early seventies, HSM Offshore, member of Andus Group, has completed numerous platforms for the oil & gas and offshore wind industry. HSM Offshore has a large expertise in multi-disciplined projects. This includes not only construction, but also project management, design, engineering of all disciplines, procurement, logistics and installation/assembly at construction sites. Timely delivery of high quality projects is ascertained by the employment of highly qualified and experienced staff. Emphasis lays on working in a safe environment. The flexibility of the organization enables the Safety First motto never to be compromised.
The production facilities at Schiedam are ideally situated in the sheltered harbour of Rotterdam. The unrestricted open access to the North Sea, the excellent industrial infrastructure and harbour facilities offer unparalleled advantages.
Project Management The organization of HSM Offshore is characterized by open communication lines. Highly skilled and experienced project management staff is a major company asset. Clear and concise information to the client offers a maximum opportunity to mutually bring projects to a success. Through early supplier involvement, the benefit of the expertise of allied specialized companies is maximized. Engineering HSM Offshore has successfully completed many EPCI projects. To do so in a safe and responsible matter, HSM Offshore has access to a range of in-house and outsourced technologies. The full range of engineering services is available in our well maintained network of alliances. In this way, constructability is already considered in the design stage, which contributes to a cost effective and timely execution of the project.
Procurement Dedicated buyers and expeditors ensure timely procurement of equipment and bulks. An integrated material control system provides follow-up on all procured items from requisition through release to the construction department. Construction Perfectly skilled construction staff and the excellent construction facilities guarantee a high standard against a competitive price. Construction activities are predominantly performed in inside conditioned shops, thus eliminating the influence of weather conditions. Through daily co-ordination on the shop floor, the construction managers ensure that all disciplines involved are able to work in a safe and efficient manner.
Installation HSM Offshore has experience with offshore transportation and installation of platforms and modules, either through subcontracting to a heavy lift contractor or through organising all activities such as barges, tugs, floating sheerlegs or other lifting vessels and pile driving equipment separately. In the latter case HSM Offshore staff will manage all interfaces offshore, with back-up from our own onshore support organisation. Hook-up and Commissioning HSM Offshore realizes that offshore operations are costly and time consuming. This amplifies the necessity of high quality commissioning onshore, while the module is still at the yard. An experienced team of professional commissioning engineers ascertains that offshore start-up activities are kept to a minimum. For similar reasons, the feasibility of offshore hook-up is carefully considered during the design and execution of the project.
Quality, Health, Safety and Environment HSM Offshore endorses the importance of a clear QHSE policy. For the realisation of the objectives of its QHSE Policy Statement, HSM Offshore has implemented a Quality Management System and a HSE Management System. All personnel are continuously made aware of the importance to meet and where possible improve the QHSE requirements during the realisation of the clients requirements.
