GOOD BUYS
Strawberries: Prices have
dropped nicely
following the holiday and
quality out of California is
really nice. We have stem
berries too, just in tme for
the rush for something special
on Graduaton Day!
Raspberries: California rasp-
berries are abundant, prety,
tangy-sweet with very nice
prices too.
Grapes: Both red and green
grapes are down in price with
outstanding quality from both
Mexico and California.
Mangos: We contnue to get
really nice tropical mangos
with good prices.
Flavorosa Pluots are the
Fruit of the Month for
June! Rich, dark skin yields
to the most eye-popping
bright rose-colored interior
for this beautful piece of
fruit. Dont let June pass you
by without ordering
Flavorosas!
Limes: The crisis is
ofcially over on limes and
we have abundant supplies
now at reasonable prices.
Watermelons: Great prices
on both yellow and red
seedless watermelons!
Broccoli Crowns &
Brussels Sprouts: We have
seen some relief in prices for
all these popular veggies!
WATCH
Zucchini & Yellow Squash:
Prices contnue unusually high
this week with problems in
the East Coast transiton due
to recent wet weather.
Green Peppers: The change
of growing areas is negatvely
afectng peppers and
cucumbers. Florida is mostly
fnished and Georgia is be-
hind.
Blackberries: These berries
are on the tght side as
producton winds down in
Mexico. Georgia is expected
to start shipping next week
which should increase
quanttes.
Blueberries: We now have
full pints from Georgia and we
will be transitoning to North
Carolina next but prices are
stll a challenge.
Cantaloupe &
Honeydews: Central
America is fnished and the
pressure is on California and
Arizona. Availability is tght
and prices are much higher.
Potatoes: Springtme
demand is driving Idaho
potato prices higher in an
actve market.
Italian, Curly Parsley &
Cilantro: Residual efects of
the are impactng the price
and availability of high quality
herbs.
Cherries: The Bing Cherries
we have in our facility are
really nice but stll pricey.
Figs: We have 1/2 trays of
Black Mission Figs from
Arizona which just arrived.

KEEP IN MIND
Stone Fruit: Prices on yellow and
white peaches, nectarines, red
and black plums, apricots, black
velvet apricots and pluots are
down a bit this week as quanttes
out of the west
improve.
Leafy Items: Romaine, romaine
hearts, red and green leaf and
iceberg were actve but now they
are down slightly in price with
good overall
quality.
Green Onions & Leeks: Prices
and availability is steady.
Red & Yellow Peppers: Reliable
supplies out of
southern California are driving
prices down. Yellow peppers now
in 15lb. Pkgs.
Avocados: Prices are steady on
excellent quality avocados. You
will love the butery smoothness
and great taste of this fruit!
Asparagus: No change in prices
or availability from last week.
Artchokes: Larger sizes are
plentful, but babies are on the
tght side.
