Maintained sole responsibility for two sections of World History for an entire year, one section of United
States history for one trimester, and an additional two sections of United States history at different points
throughout the school year.
Designed units, lessons, and assessments in accordance to a team developed curriculum for World history
and co-created a curriculum with my mentor teacher for United States history classes.
Developed relationships with students by working one on one with them before, after, and during school
hours.
Accommodated lessons and assessments for students including creating a focus student case study in
accordance to the special education staff.
Actively reflected on my practice through interactions with a variety of colleagues, field instructors, and
Michigan State professors.
Adjusted pedagogical and classroom management techniques in accordance to analyses of my practice.
Implemented a hierarchy or teacher moves to create a safe learning environment that was rooted in
