    Ten-Day Intensive Vedanta Retreat

    Rishikesh, North India

    Living the Vision of Oneness

    During this tenday retreat in North India by the Ganges River, you will be given the unique
    opportunitytobeexposedtothespiritualteachingofVedanta.Youwillsharethisretreatwitha
    smallgroupofindividualsfromallovertheworldwholikeyouareinterestedinlearningmore
    aboutoneself.TheexposuretothevisionofVedantainanaturalenvironmentandwithoutany
    distractionscantrulybringaboutamajorshiftinperspectiveandtransformyourentirelife.
    Theprogramconsistsofstudyof:
    MandukyaUpanishad

    ThisUpanishadexpoundsthevisionofVedantathroughthesacredwordOm,whichisutilized
    in all Vedic prayers and rituals. This Upanishad demonstrates the exalted status of Om by
    showinghowitcoverstheentirevisionofthetruthofoneself,theuniverseandthecauseofthe
    universe. The methodology used is our own waking, dream and deep sleep experience at an
    individuallevelandtheentirephysical,subtleandcausaluniverseatthecosmiclevel.

    Chapter IV of the Bhagavad Gita
    This chapter starts by Lord Krishna answering Arjunas question that gives explaination of
    what is an avatar. Lord Krishna also very clearly describes a wise persons relations with
    actions. He explicitly says that actionlessness of wise persons do not stem from inactivity on
    theirpart.Finallyhedetailsthepersonalgrowthrequiredforonetobeawiseperson.
    These two sessions will be reinforced with morning meditations, practice of
    meditative movements and dialogue sessions.
