d. List of Figures
This list contains the titles of figures, together with their page numbers, which are listed
in the text or in the appendix. The numbering system is the same as that used for topics,
for example; Figure 1.3, Figure 1.3.7 and Figure 1.3.7 (a).
e. List of Tables
This list contains the titles of tables, together with their page numbers, which are listed
in the text or in the appendix. The numbering system is the same as that used for topics,

implications of the topic of your seminar. (Page No. should start from abstract like 1,
2, 3.)
1.2
Text
The text would consist of the following chapters:
Chapter 1: Introduction
Chapter 2: Company Infrastructure
Chapter 3: Training Attended (if any)
Chapter 4: Systems/Project Development
Chapter 5: Conclusion
1.3
Supplement
Specific items which are not included in the main body of the text should be put in this
Additional/Supplementary Section. Typically this section includes the following:
a. Appendices are provided to give supplementary information, which is included in

are numbered sequentially:
Table 3.1, Table 3.2 etc.
The table label is placed above the table itself and has a format of the type:
2.6
2.7
Table 3.1
<Short Title>
TABLE
If the table contains a citation, the source of the reference should be placed below the
table.
2.8
Figures
Figures, like tables are printed within the body of the text at the center of the frame and
labeled accordingly to the chapter in which they appear. Thus, for example, figures in the
Chapter 3 are numbered sequentially: Figure 3.1, Figure 3.2 etc.
Figures, unlike text or tables, contain graph, illustrations or photograph and, the labels are
placed at the bottom of the figure rather than at the top.

Conclusion:
Through the Industrial Training, students will not only gain the exposure and the
experience from the industry, but will also able to prepare a good report. It is hoped that
students will be benefited by these general guidelines and to meet the minimal format
requirements set by the Department to complete the Industrial Training and the report.
