SI Units

The Delete Record button removes the data locally from this spreadsheet. It does not delete th
into the database.

The SI Units check box changes the data type that is saved into the XML file. Changing it will change
this spread sheet. It will not convert data from one set of units to the other.

Step by Step Example

1 Select the general worksheet. Enter the Project Information.
2 Select the worksheet corresponding to your laboratory data.
3 Select the type of units for the data (SI or English). This is done with the SI Units Check box.
4 Fill out the yellow cells with the required information.
5 Fill out the white cells with available information.
6 If you have more results to enter, use the spin control to rotate the data.
7 Select the general worksheet. Upload or Save your XML laboratory data.

Each row containing rock data must have its respective core run and sample columns filled out.
Soil
This sheet is a summary of soil laboratory data. The sample column must be filled out for each data row.
Sieve
Soil classification requires a PL, a LL, and data for US Sieve 10, 40, and 200.
Triaxial

The import Triaxial data button imports ASCII data that may be saved by another laboratory device.
It requires 4 steps.
1 Press the Import Triaxial Data button, select the ASCII file containing the strain and deviator stress da
2 Use the spin control to select the test number corresponding to the imported data
3 Use the other spin controls to select the strain and deviator stress columns
