Cloud'S Pve Guide To Fury Warriors - How To Effectively Behead Your Enemies
your enemies.
Hi and welcome to my very first guide Im writing :P. So you picked Fury and now
youre looking for, how to carve the brains out of your foes in the best way
possible, well you came to the right place. This guide is for both new players and
old players, to better themselves and to strive to be the best warrior out there.
Remember Im not perfect, if you notice something wrong or would like to add
something feel free to point them out, but if you do I kindly ask of any proof or
sources to be provided. If you have any further questions or would like to discuss
more, Im available in game and will be more than happy to answer you :D .
Table of contents

This tier is individual and depends on your playstyle so pick any of these you feel
comfortable with. Im currently using Double Time because 2 charges are better
than one :P
Tier 2, level 30 focuses on healing.
Enraged Regeneration heals you for 10% of your maximum health plus
an additional 10% for the next 5 sec. Healing is doubled when used while
enraged.
Second Wind heals you 3% of your maximum health every second while
below 35%.
Impending Victory improved version of victory rush.
In this tier your choices will be between ER and SW. If you want a bursty heal to
keep yourself alive ER is the one to go for, in higher end gear this one is more
beneficial for you because hopefully your healers wont let you drop to 35%
health to rely on SW. Im currently using SW here on lolmane since Im kinda
lazy :D
Tier 3, level 45 crowd control abilities
Piercing Howl snaring all targets in 15 yards, slowing them with 50%
speed for 15 sec, no cd
Disrupting Shout interrupts all spellcasting in 10 yards for 4 seconds.
Mass Spell Reflection reflect the next spell cast on you and all your party
members in 20 yards for 5 sec.
Safeguard improved Intervene and adds a 20% reduced damage to the
target.
Vigilance when used on a party member he/she will take 30% reduced
damage.
Raidwise you always want to pick-up vigilance since spell reflect does not work in
boss encounters and safeguard not saving the tanks. And please when you pick
this talent make sure you use it aswell, not just picking it up for the lols. It helps
out both healers and tanks A LOT.
Tier 6 level 90 DPS cooldowns
Avatar increased damage by 20% for 24 seconds with a 3 minute
cooldown.
Bloodbath causes your special attacks to add 30% bleed and it works as
a rolling bleed.
Stormbolt 4 second stun, if the target cant be stunned it will hit it for
500% instead of 125%.
Sadly in lolmane you only have one choice to go for in this tier and that is
Bloodbath. Avatar adds a nice burst but with a 3 minute cd its not worth it at all.
In these 3 minutes you can have three BB. Stormbolt should be the best one to
go with on fury since bosses cant be stunned and hits for 500%, sadly here on
lolmane it seems like it hits for 50% only.
Major glyphs
Mandatory glyphs that you must never switch from are the following:
Glyph of Unending Rage increases your rage pool with 20 and gives a
maximum rage of 120.
Glyph of Colossus Smash causes CS to apply a stack of Sunder Armor to
the target.
The last major glyph slot should always be switched right before the encounter
depending on what you need to do. A good warrior always makes sure to look
over this right before the start, here are the ones you should pick from depending
on the encounter:
Minor glyphs
Most of the minor glyphs have cosmetic effects that wont really have an
impact on your DPS but there are a few to mention thats a must have.
Glyph of Intimidating Shout your targets wont run around feared but
instead rooted in place. Really nice glyph for encounters with adds like
Horridon.
Glyph of the Subtle Defender removes your threat from defensive
stance, in case your worried about getting aggroed by the boss this is a
nice glyph to have in raidheavy damage encounters.
Hit you never want to miss any important hits on the boss, therefore
always go for 7,5% for raidbosses.
Expertise you never want the boss to dodge any of your hits, which
makes you want to go for 7,5% here aswell.
Strength your primary stat depending on your current set of gear, gives
you more attack power which makes you hit harder. If you have 522 gear
Crit will become more important than Strength I will explain why later on in
this guide.
Critical Strike more crits means more uptime of Enraged which means
more Raging Blows which means more DPS. This stat is ridiculously good
for Fury warriors you want to stack it as much as possible.
Mastery Increases the damage you do while Enraged. A nice dps increase
but if you dont crit you wont be enraged which makes this stat far
superior to crit.
Haste Your worst stat, basically only increases your attack speed. You
never want to have any pieces of haste in your gear, try to avoid it as
much as possible.
I split my rotation into three different phases; burst/opener, normal and execute
phase.
Burst/opener rotation:
Prepot Charge Bloodthirst Colossus Smash Pop Macro 1 simultaneously
with BT and CS Pop Macro 2 Dragon Roar Raging Blow + Heroic Strike
Feel free to use any Wild Strikes that procs during this phase but dont prioritize it
over Raging Blow. If you want to perfect your rotation and make the burst even
more burstier, time your Dancing Steel procs, trinket procs and any other procs
with ur macros and you will excel at all classes you play.
The main idea in this opener is to get some nice rage build-up with your
BT+charge+macros almost until full rage, remember to never rage cap ever as a
warrior. The CS adds a debuff for 6 seconds bypassing all armor, the main idea is
to dump as many RB+HS while having that debuff up to maximize your dps. RB is
your hardest hitting attack and you want to use it as soon as possible whenever
its avalible.

V. Reforging
Regarding reforging I always use an add-on called ReforgeLite for all my classes.
Its really simple, easy to use and effective. It saves you a lot of trouble and
counts out almost exactly reaching hit/exp caps. Here is the DL-link
http://www.wowace.com/addons/reforgelite/files/
When you have downloaded it simply go to any Reforger in town a window will
pop up. Click on Presets and click Fury. Make sure hit and exp are both set to
2550 and crit > mastery > haste. Click on Calculate. Scroll down and click on
Show. A new window will pop, make sure to not click anything in this window
simply just click Reforge and it will do the job for you. Sometimes it gets stuck
dont worry that means you have to relog to solve the issue.
