Subject:- ON Job Experience /Training


Dear Student Member,
The Aeronautical Society of India has introduced two OJT schemes for the benefit of AeSI Graduates. Details
are given below. A Student Member is entitled to choose either of the two schemes, after successful completion
of Section A and Section B.

Conditions to be fulfilled by AeSI Graduates


Selected students will be required to give an undertaking for completing training without break until the
AeSI graduate gets a job in the field of Aeronautics or is selected for higher studies. Prior permission from
AeSI Head Office will be necessary before discontinuation of OJT.
No leave is allowed during the training, however for emergencies, leave without stipend may be considered.

In case a student member discontinues OJT without permission from AeSI Head Office, he has to refund the
entire amount of stipend released till date.
All candidates who join OJT will be required to submit a detailed Project Report (covering the entire period)
and feedback Administrative Report at the end of the training. Stipend for a period of up to two months will
be with held and shall be released on receipt of detailed Project Report and feedback report.
Student members desirous of availing the scheme are to keep the Head Office informed of any developments
in respect of change of address or willingness to join the OJT. This is to minimize admin delay in processing
of the applications.
AeSI Graduates have to make their own arrangement for boarding and lodging at the place of training.
A copy of the application for On-Job-Training is enclosed. Last date for submission of completed
application is 31st March 05. The processing of the application involves liaison with concerned
organizations and students will be routed only after the organizations acknowledge acceptance. This may
involve time up to two months.
