design, manufacture and test a wide range of oil immeresed and dry-type transformers and to oer customized

THE PRODUCT
Eurogulf Transformers FZC has in-house facilities for design, manufacture and testing of transformers
that meet various applications for energy transmission, distribution and other industrial needs. The
company also manufactures the transformers for oil-lled sector, which includes pulse rectier
applications.
Eurogulf Transformers FZC has the proven capability to supply oil-immersed and dry-type transformer
also having facilities for manufacturing Silicon, envirotemp FR3 and Midel liquid lled transformers
for special applications in hazardous areas.
Our transformers are type tested at the world-renowned testing laboratory, KEMA, Netherlands and
certied
by them.

MANUFACTURING PROCESS
TANKING & FINAL ASSEMBLY
VACUUM DRYING
Transformers are lled with ltered transformer oil

under vacuum to the required level. A er the tanking
process, testing is done to ensure transformers are
leak free.
Core Coil Assemblies are dried under vacuum to

remove moisture. Oven for drying active part is
computerized and can cater upto 132kV class.
The type of kV class is selected at menu. The
process is automatic. A er the completion of the
process the CCA is taken for tanking process.

BLASTING AND PAINTING
Shot blasting process removes mill and welding scale. A

Zino-rich primer coat is applied immediately a er short
blasting to eliminate rust formation. A er the rst coat is
dried, a second coat is applied. Painting is done by ood
painting process.
TANK CONSTRUCTION
Tanks are fabricated with mild steel. The welds are leak
free and as per SA 2 all tanks are checked by ultraviolet
ray dye penetrant test to ensure zero leakage.
TESTING
E ROG LF has a modern and e cient test room equipped with high precision equipment to meet the
requirements of IEC 76, IEEE, S, IS & NEMA standards etc.
E ROG LF transformers are typed-tested at internationally reputed testing stations namely KEMA of
Netherlands.

A Brief Note on SCAN
Capabilities and Operations
SCAN Electromechanical Contracting Co LLC.., is a private Electrical
Contracting and Trading Company operating in United Arab Emirates. Scan
strives for client satisfaction and has good reputation with all has served. Our
utilities and organizations experience include the following:
Electrical Contracting work for the supply and installation of Overhead
Transmission Lines, Underground Cable up to 220kV, Transformer, Sub-stations
and Electrical Switchgear. Our Management and Supervisory Staff have the
experience of installing approximately 600km of Cables from low voltage, 11kV,
33kV, 132kV, Control Cable and Fiber Optic Cables in the United Arab Emirates
during last 20 Years.
SCAN also performs Trading and Marketing of Electrical Equipment. We hold our
own warehouse, substantial stock of Transformers, RMUs, Switchgear, Feeder
Pillars, Cables of various Voltage / Size, Termination Kits, Jointing Kits and other
related accessories.
Scan has strong relation with many major manufactures and suppliers and is well
supported in the UAE.
CURRENT ACTIVITES;
Scan is registered with the FEWA (Federal Electricity and Water Authority),
SEWA (Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority), and DEWA (Dubai Electricity
and Water Authority) as Electrical Contracting Supplier. And in Abu Dhabi
(ADWEA, Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority) as a supplier agent.
Scan has executed a number of turnkey Power Projects to various areas under the
above mention Electricity and Water Authorities for Sharjah, Ajman, Ras-AlKhaimah, Fujairah, Dubai and Abu Dhabi. These Projects involved installation of
Overhead lines, Underground Cables including Terminating and Jointing, Erection
of Transformers and Switchgear.
SCAN has executed project for ETISALAT at various Telecom sites in the
Emirates of Fujairah, Ras-Al-Khaimah, Ajman and Sharjah. The projects mainly
consisted of installation of 11kV O.H. Lines, Underground Cabling, Erection of
Transformers and Sub-stations.
SCAN has carried out a contract for installation of 132kV Oil-Filled Cable and
Pilot Cable at Garhoud in Dubai as a Sub-Contractor to LINK MIDDLE EAST
LIMITED, Dubai under the supervision of DEWA (Dubai Electricity and Water
Authority).
SCANs first project was the installation of 132kV 90km of XLPE Cable by
DELTA Energy Cable Limited (now BICC) of Middlesex, U.K. for the project of
Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority against the Tender No. DST/97/0146 in
1994 which includes Installation, Termination and Jointing of 132kV Cable and
underground Fiber Optic Cable.

SCAN has been awarded with the following Turnkey projects by Sharjah
Electricity and Water Authority which are supply and Erection of 132kV / 33kV,
60 / 100 MVA Transformers at Al-Qasimia and 132kV / 33kV, 60 / 75 MVA
Transformers at Hamriyah, Sharjah.
SCAN with M/S GROUP SCHEIDER, FRANCE has joint venture to carrying out
the 132kV underground cabling in Qasimia, Supply & Installation of 132kV /
33kV, 60 / 75 MVA, Transformer for Sajjah Station.
SCAN holds the Agency of SGB Transformers Germany for the Emirates of
Sharjah and Northern Emirates and as a joint venture with SGB. We had supplied
and 100 / 75 / 60 MVA Transformer for Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority,
Cast Resin Transformer to ETISALAT and distribution Transformer to the
consumer in all the Emirates.
