IDC4E...volution
The heart of TEXA diagnostics
The extraordinary IDC4E CAR software, specially developed for use with cars and light commercials,
can manage all the daily tasks normally performed in the workshop.
IDC4E is the result of a long and in-depth study that put together mechanics on one side and TEXA
developers on the other in order to create a new software even more easier to use, with the most
requested workshop operations always easily available, with the different information and functions
more interconnected to offer mechanics a support that is customised and based on the analysis of
their actual needs.
The new graphical interface is featured for example by bigger and more intuitive
icons, by technical information-diagnosis contextual links and vice versa, by a new
customer management system for a quick profiling and many other functions.

Below are the main innovations:

1. The Global system scan through the extraordinary

TGS3s function and the Actions on the vehicle
represented by Vehicle Maintenance, Adjustments and
Codings, Device Check are in the foreground in the Selfdiagnosis menu, easily accessible and simple to use.

2. The vehicle selection procedure was redesigned to

further increase the intuitiveness by reducing the steps
in order to reach the selection in only a few clicks. By
using the new START button alongside the system
selected, you immediately reach the ERRORS screen.

3. Navigation within the software screens is easier

thanks to the use of tabs (PARAMETERS, ERRORS, ECU
INFO, ACTIVATIONS, ADJUSTMENTS).

4. Favourite buttons with Print, Recording, Deletion and

function buttons: FREEZE FRAME, Self-diagnosis Help,
component wiring diagram and solved problem service.

5. Direct connection between the diagnosis and

the wiring diagrams with the selected component
highlighted. The new function called Wiring Diagram
Detail allows an instant connection between the error
read in the control unit and the related component in the
wiring diagram.

6. Favourite parameters always available. This function

allows you to customise and store a list of parameters
creating logical groups that are useful to investigate a
possible vehicle malfunction.

7. The reorganisation of the IDC4E software also includes the reorganisation of the technical documentation
related to the vehicle directly in the Self-diagnosis.

8. The section dedicated to Customer Management

was redesigned and allows you to manage your customers through a detailed profiling of the vehicle and of
the repairs that were carried out.

New diagnostic features

With

version 58 for the CAR and SUPERCAR environments, you can once again access a

wide selection of diagnostic functions that are not limited to parameters or error codes, but offer the
possibility to carry out specific adaptation and adjustment functions with no equal on the multibrand
diagnosis market.
Furthermore, in the SUPERCAR environment, specific developments for prestigious makes such as
BENTLEY and ROLLS ROYCE have been completed, in addition to the makes that are already available
for which new models and new diagnostic functions have been added, such as the service reset for
MASERATI GHIBLI and PORSCHE PANAMERA or the transmission adaptation value learning for the
CORVETTE COUP.
IDC4E CAR 58 includes

over 33,000 new possible selections

for

the major makes on the international market, among which: ABARTH, AUDI, BENTLEY, BMW,
CHEVROLET, CHRYSLER, CITREN, DACIA, DODGE, FERRARI, FIAT, FORD, HAFEI, HYUNDAI,
INFINITI, JAGUAR, JEEP, KIA, LADA, LAMBORGHINI, LANCIA, LEXUS, MASERATI, MERCEDESBENZ, NISSAN, OPEL (GM), PEUGEOT, PLYMOUTH, PORSCHE, RENAULT, ROLLS- ROYCE, SCION,
SEAT, SKODA, SSANGYONG, SUBARU, TOYOTA, VOLKSWAGEN, VOLVO.
Another important new feature introduced starting from CAR update 58 is the availability of new jigs
needed for a correct calibration of the front and rear video cameras for some models of the makes
MERCEDES-BENZ, VOLKSWAGEN GROUP, NISSAN, HYUNDAI. The use of the jigs will be easier thanks
to a support that can be configured and adjusted based on different needs.

In 2012 TEXA introduced a revolutionary concept in the diagnosis industry, the TEXA APP, the first
virtual store within a diagnostic software which allows mechanics to customise their tools with
functions that are best suited to their daily activities!
Today TEXA, in view of the success it has achieved, has decided to extend this potentiality to AXONE 4
Mini and to the new arrival AXONE S, with a new portal specifically designed for these two platforms.
With the introduction of the TEXA APP portal, many of the functions that were previously available for
AXONE 4 and the PC software only, are now available for these two tools, in particular the very useful
SPECIAL FUNCTIONS which allows access to operations such as Remote control/Key Coding, DPF
Regeneration, Language Change through a dedicated button!

able to manage your information, view the details of the diagnostic tools you own, the status of your
subscriptions, the services that are active.
myTEXA also allows you to access the reserved area DOWNLOAD MANAGER, the new application
specifically developed to simplify, speed up and furtherly protect the downloading procedures for the
diagnostic software programs, to subscribe to TEXAs newsletter and receive directly in your mailbox
all the last news regarding the company, its products and related updates and upgrades, other than
the TEXAEDU course calendar and much more.

Due to the evolution of vehicle electronics, the use of new generation TEXA tools, offering stateof-the art technological solutions has, by now, become essential. This is why, for certain new
diagnostic systems and for those already present within the previous versions, but updated
in this new version, the relative diagnostic operations may not be available using obsolete
tools (AXONE 2000, NAVIGATOR CLASSIC, NAVIGATOR MOBILE, AXONE 3 MOBILE with A-DIA
module, TRIBOX MOBILE with A-DIA module).
