What is an adverb?
Adverbs are words that answer the following questions.
How?
Natalie ran quickly.
Simon sang loudly.
When?
We are playing football tomorrow. (When are you playing football?)
Afterwards we went camping.
(When did you go camping?)
Where?
I left my book there.
I am going home.
