Bus Fares
NJ TRANSIT bus fares are based on the number of
zones traveled between your origin and destination.
The fare for a one-zone intrastate trip is $1.25.
Additional zone charges may apply for longer trips.
Most trips in southern New Jersey are four zones or
less. If your trip requires a transfer to a second bus,
purchase a transfer for 55 cents when you pay your
fare on the first bus youll save 70 cents on the
second fare! Transfers are available for intrastate
trips at the following rates:

Child/Senior Citizen/People with Disabilities - $.25

PATCO
PATCO, a subsidiary of the Delaware River Port
Authority, operates train service between southern
New Jersey and Philadelphia. Park/Ride facilities are
available for more than 12,600 cars
at seven New Jersey stations. 60%
of parking spaces are free at all times.

gates accept $1 payment, for up to
24 hours parking, using a FREEDOM
12th/13th & Locust
smart card. Metered parking is also

Atlantic County
Atlantic County provides demand-responsive
shuttle services throughout the county. Services
provide connections many to locations, including
NJ TRANSIT bus and rail stations. Call Atlantic
County at 609-645-5910 for more information.
Burlington County
Burlington County provides transit services
throughout the County. Major destinations include
Pemberton, Mt. Holly, Willingboro, as well as
County social service offices and Burlington County
College. Burlington County also provides transit
services to several River LINE stations, connecting
passengers with suburban office parks and
shopping destinations. Call Burlington County at

Camden County
The South Jersey Transportation Authority (SJTA)
provides employment-based shuttle services to
destinations throughout southern New Jersey. SJTA
also provides shuttle services to support several
stations along the River LINE. These shuttles serve
sites in Camden City as well as suburban office

Cumberland County
Cumberland County provides shuttle services to
destinations throughout the county, including
employment sites in Vineland and Bridgeton.
These services connect with NJ Transit bus routes.

Gloucester County provides demand responsive

The Cape May Seashore
Lines operate regularly
scheduled excursion
service, spring through fall,
and limited special event
service in late fall. Contact

Accessible Services
NJ TRANSIT, PATCO, SEPTA and Amtrak all provide
accessible services for people with disabilities.
These include buses with lifts and kneeling
features, and elevators or ramps at
certain train stations. Please consult
the carrier for details on these services.
Reduced Fares
for Senior Citizens & People with Disabilities
On NJ TRANSIT, people with disabilities, and those
62 years and older, can travel on-board NJ TRANSIT
trains, buses and light rail vehicles at a reduced fare
of one-half the regular one-way fare or less at all times
with valid ID. Please call (973) 378-6401
for more information on the Reduced
Fare Program and ID requirements.
On PATCO, all persons 65 years and older and people
with disabilities may ride during the off-peak hours
for one half the lowest regular interstate fare.
On all SEPTA services, free and reduced fares are
offered during off-peak hours.
Proper identification is required for all reduced fares.
