This list is a noble tradition of keeping

relatives or friends, who are sick and in
need of healing. We believe the power
of communal prayer is greater than the
individual one. We appreciate being
advised when the prayer has been
granted so the name can be removed
from the list. Due to the amount of space
available in the bulletin and the number of
people requesting to be included on this
list, the standard time for any given name
to remain on the list is 2 months. We
reserve the right to add or delete any
name at our discretion based on the
circumstance listed above. Note: The
names below listed in red will be deleted
in next weekends bulletin. Please call the
church office by June 30th if you would
like the name to remain on the list for the
next 2 months. Thank you.
Please pray for those
who are sick and in
need of healing
graces.

Divine Mercy and Sacred Heart Devotion

at St. John Neumann
Friday July 1st is the next Divine Mercy devotion in the St. John
Neumann Church at 6:30 pm. We will celebrate with evening prayer,
adoration and the Chaplet in song with the very talented Stephanie
Guevara. Additionally, the first Friday of each month was designated
by our Savior Himself as a day to be consecrated to honoring His
Sacred Heart. Please join us at 6:30 pm on July 1st as we pray these
devotions to the Heart of Jesus that overflows with merciful love for
us. Questions may be directed to Evelyn Padalecki at 210-272-0252 or
Deacon Tom at 210-654-1643.

Julys Parish Monthly Outreach - Project of Mercy will be on
July9, fr om 9am to 1pm at Haven for Hope. For those that havent
heard or know what this organization does, its mission is to offer a
place of hope and new beginnings. They do this by providing,
coordinating and delivering an efficient system of care for people
experiencing homelessness in Bexar County. It is made up of two
major programs: the Courtyard and the Transformational Campus. The
Courtyard is a low-barrier safe sleeping program that offers shelter and
basic needs. The Transformational Campus is a center that offers
services and shelter with an emphasis toward addressing the root
causes of homelessness. Every night of the week, between 600-800
homeless brothers and sisters utilize the simple comforts provided by
Haven for Hope.
Please join us in being a witness to mercy by working together and
accomplishing our special acts of mercy projects. The projects consist
of Campus Beautification which basically means picking up trash
and litter around the Transformational Campus. The other project will
be cleaning the sleeping mattresses used throughout the Courtyard.
Volunteers must be at least 15 years old for the mattresses cleaning;
and 18 for the campus cleanup.
If you would like to volunteer, please call/text me @ (210) 845-6695
or email me @ salnsonia@hotmail.com. You can also call the Parish
Office at 654-1643 to volunteer.
We will meet in the front parking lot of SJN between 8 8:15am;
and then all caravan and/or carpool to Haven for Hope. We hope to see
many of you on Saturday, July 9! Thank you and God bless us all on
our journey of conversion.

Salvador Ordorica

Holiness is reached
by taking tiny
steps, like biting
your tongue every
time there is the
urge to gossip or
demean somebody.
Bite your tongue a little. Your
tongue will swell up a bit, but
your spirit will be holier, -Pope
Francis Homily May 24 during

The Mens ACTS Retreat is just the place to light the fire that may have turned to embers or
MENS has extinguished. Come share in a life changing experience, rejoicing in the name of the
Jesus and getting to know His mercy and love at this years St. John Neumanns Mens
