ColdSnap(Su):TheCryomancercanmanipulatethewaterintheair,loweringthetemperaturearoundherselfandevencausingfreezingaroundthe
hergeneralarea.Atfirstlevel,theCryomancercantouchthegroundandliterallyfreezeit.Asastandardaction,theCryomancercancreateathin

Combat:TheCryomanceris,fireandforemost,acaster.AlthoughtheirIceArmorabilityprovidessomedefense,theirpartymembersprovidea
betterdefenseasabodywallinstead.Theirdamagingspellsareeitherareaofeffectoftargettedspells,normallyconvertedintocoldspells,thatlets
hertoincreasetheirpowerusingherFrostfellandFrozenDeathabilities.CombatcontrolisamustforaCryomancer,usingtheirspellstocreate
pocketsofenemiesandsummons(withtheColdsubtypethankstoChillingConjuration)tocauseareaofeffectspellsthatdamageenemies.When
reachingsixthlevel,theCryomancercanusetheirbreathweaponinplaceofspells(astoconservetheirpower)andatseventh,theuseof
metamagicfeatstoboostpowerfromtheircoldspellsisamust.TheirColdSnappowerisusefulforkeepingenemiesmovingslowlyacrossthefloor,
buthastheunfortunatebackfireofeffectingtheCryomancer'sallies.
Advancement:ACryomancerwillgenerallyadvanceinanotherprestigeclassthatincreasesthepoweroftheirspellsandpossiblyonethatfocuses
stillonthecoldpowersthattheyhavegainedfromtheirlevelsinCryomancer.Archmageisagoodchoiceforalteringtheshapeofspells(with
MasteryofShaping)orincreasingthecasterlevelsofspellsevenfurther.
