    With the multi-mode era coming, ZTE, who is dedicated to provide comprehensive network solutions
    and deliver the future-oriented quality network for the operators, developed the ground breaking SDR
    unified platform with the essential feature to support multi-mode and multi-band radio access and the
    ability to build up a united access platform.
    Based on this innovative SDR platform, ZTE promotes Uni-RAN series product to satisfy different
    scenario requirements, including Indoor Macro, Outdoor Macro, Distributed, Micro, Mini base stations,
    radio controller as well as uni-management system.
    The Uni-RAN series product aims to design a unified network which can bring seamless experience to
    operators. In GSM, UMTS or mixed mode, the solution enables operators to make significant CAPEX
    and OPEX savings because they only need to deploy a uni Radio Access Network, compared to the
    costs involved with independent GSM and UMTS networks.

    Flexible Configuration

    BS8800 can accommodate several


    kinds of multi-carrier RSUs, including
    1T2R, 2T4R RF modules. It supports
    G/U/L single or mixed mode flexibly
    with software configuration only.
    Low Power consumption
    The PA efficiency achieves 50% with
    ZTE patent Doherty + DPD + D-PT
    technology. Power consumption can
    be greatly decreased.
    IP RAN
    Adopting TCA architecture, BS8800
    provides FE/GE interfaces and fully
    supports IP RAN.
    Space Saving
    Embedded BS8800 reuses the spare
    room in the existing rack and saves
    the footprint in the room, so the rental
    is decreased greatly.
