The film 127 hours is based on a true story.


He hopes that the girls he met while he was travelling to the park will hear him if he
shouts, but he soon realises that nobody can hear him.
Today Aron still goes climbing, but he always tells someone where he is going.
He knows the water wont last a long time. He will die if he cant escape from the
canyon.
Its the story of a young man who loves adventure, danger and excitement.
The young man, whose name is Aron Ralston, decides to go climbing by himself in
Canyonlands National Park in the USA.
He uses the knife to cut his arm free and climbs out of the canyon.
The rock lands on Arons arm. His arm is stuck. He cant move.
He tries to push the rock away, but its too heavy.
Aron has a small bottle of water, no food and a small knife.
By chance a pair of walkers is passing close by and they help him reach a hospital.
He has to make a very difficult decision, his arm or his life.
Aron has spent 127 hours stuck in the canyon. He is weak. His arm is bleeding.
He doesnt tell anyone where he is going. While he is climbing in a canyon, a large rock
falls down.
