SCHOOL ACTIVITIES
Young Life Student Leadership: 2013 present. Attended meetings twice a week for faith based ministry
striving to obtain the goal of bringing youth closer to Christ through activities and fellowship. Learn how
to be a leader with peers and develop a relationship with Christ. Senior Leader and host of young life club
in 2015-2016.
Two Hearts: 2014 present. Attended weekly meetings. Mentored underclassman at Cave Spring High
School, building self-esteem, and assisting underclassmen with the transition to high school by
relationship building and volunteer activities.
Student Council Association (SCA): 2014-present. Work closely with President. Assume Presidents
duties when needed. Assist the President in preparing meeting agendas. Give assistance and guidance.
Maintain frequent contact with faculty and administration. Work with advisor on all planning. Participate
in student council sponsored activities/events.
Homecoming committee: 2014-present. Oversee the entire event and planning process. Establish a task
management schedule. Recruit key volunteers and motivate committee. Communicate responsibilities.
Ensure communication between committee members is active and productive. Foster an environment that
generates exciting ideas. Establish budget and maintain financial controls. Responsible for all final
decisions.
DECA: 2014-2015. Develop leadership and business skills beyond what the classroom can provide.
Explore a variety of career fields, such as fashion, finance, marketing, hospitality & tourism, sports &
entertainment and entrepreneurship. Network with business people who can influence you future career.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Sales Associate: March 2016 present. Salem Red Sox stadium. Arrive to work on time when
scheduled, set up food cart, provide excellent customer service, accurate order taking, maintain
accurate money drawer, monitor product stock, and clean up.
Nanny: Summer 2014 present. Provided childcare for three children, ages 13, 8 and 11. Assisted with
homework, projects, and engaged children in activities including but not limited to outings, music
lessons, outdoor education, cooking and other enriching activities.
Babysitter: 2013 present. Provide safe, compassionate care to children ages 6 months through 13 years.
Adjust care and activities to be age appropriate.
VOLUNTEERING
Salem Family YMCA Teen Leaders Club: 2014 2016. Participated in weekly meetings, served as
secretary, recruited members, planned meetings, and organized and participated in service projects.
BETA club: Prepare young people for life and empower them to be successful. Develop the leaders of
tomorrow. Volunteer at various places/events around the community.
Key Club: 2013 present. Volunteer at a various places/events around the community. Activities included
reading to elementary school kids, serving meals at the rescue mission, and special event help (formal
balls, 5K and other races, holiday parties, bingo).
ATHLETICS
Travel Soccer: 2007 Present. Attended practices two to three times a week and arrived to games on
time. Caption for 4 years. Member of Roanoke Star, Valley AFC, and Triad Elite soccer clubs.
Cave Spring High School Soccer: JV, Eighth, freshman, sophomore years. Varsity junior years. Trained in
daily practices, set up nets, contributed to team play in games. Captain on JV for 2 years.
Cave Spring High School Basketball: JV, freshman year; Varsity, sophomore, junior, senior years. Trained
in daily practices and supported other players.
Travel Basketball: 2012-2015. Attended practices two times a week and arrived to games on time.
Cheered on team members.
