How To Setup WebOP and S7-300 MPI Port

WOP-2000 Series/ WOP-3000 Series

Problem Description:

This tech note introduces how to connect Siemens S7-300 MPI Port with WebOP Designer HMI.

Brief Solution - Step by Step:


Note: Panel Express doesnt support MPI Port driver

1) PLC Parameter setting:


Execute the STEP7 software to link with the S7-300 CPU via PC Adapter program cable.

Create a new project follow below steps and set the CPU communication format.

<Enter Hardware option>

<Insert a Rail from RACK option>

<Insert a CPU unit into slot2, double it enter the properties window.>
Under CPU properties window, you can see the standard transmission rate is 187.5Kbps. Please use it to
link with PV series HMI directly.

We will suggest you the PLC and HMI address node do not set 0 or 1:
Node 0: reserve for PC / WinCC
Node 1: Step7 Software
2) HMI setting:
Select Device/Server Siemens AG Simatic S7-300 (MPI Port)

NOTE: WebOP Driver named as C39021.dll and C39021.mod

Set the HMI link port parameter identical with PLC communication parameter

3) PLC Memory Address


Bit Devices:

NOTE: Device named DBXn.b specified same as DB10.DBXn.b.
