Thirty Second Sunday in Ordinary Time
Greetings of peace,
Due to special events and special circumstances, we have some proposed one-time changes
to the Mass schedule for some upcoming days.
Christmas 2016: This year, December 25 falls on Sunday. To accommodate some
additional interest in Christmas Eve Masses, we will add two Masses: 7pm and Midnight on
Christmas Eve. Please help us to spread the word about these two additional Masses on
Christmas Eve.
Christmas Eve, Saturday, December 24
4:00pm, 4:15pm, 5:30pm, 7:00pm, 10:00pm, Midnight.
Music at all Masses.
Christmas Day, Sunday, December 25
6am, 7:30am, 9am, 10am, 11:15am, Noon in Spanish, 12:30pm.
Music as per a typical Sunday.
Note: we will not have a 4:00pm or a 5:30pm Mass on Sunday, December 25.
Solemnity of Mary, January 1, falling on a Sunday: Regular Saturday night and Sunday
schedule.
Ash Wednesday, March 1, 2017: There is a lot of interest on Ash Wednesday for late
afternoon Masses. For that day, we will add two Masses, a 4:30pm Mass and a 6:00pm
Mass. The 5:15pm Mass in Spanish will go on as usual.
Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017: This year, Easter Sunday happens to be the day before the
Boston Marathon. We will add three Masses: a 9:30am Mass on the first floor, a 10:45am
Mass on the first floor, and a 1:15pm Mass on the first floor. There will be music for all three
of these added Masses. We will keep the noon Mass in Spanish. Note: we will not have a
4:00pm or a 5:30pm Mass on Easter Sunday, April 16.
We friars look forward to celebrating these special days with the larger worshiping community!
