Leadership Greater Topeka
Developed civil programs with regards to the community needs and fostered grassroots efforts, started a
community service initiative that would continue on past our implementation, fundraised for a non-profit.
Oral Health Kansas
Developed a training for families with children on the autism spectrum oral health strategies, wrote articles
for newsletter, and researched mobile application resources for oral health.

Community Service
Screened citizens with vitals, and for some collected ACR urine samples and blood samples for testing at
this community-based initiative to screen and educate high-risk populations about their kidneys.
Maintained the gardens in an urban setting by mowing, weeding, and harvesting food to bring to the food
shelters.
Taught middle school students about healthy relationships and violence in the home, weekly for the spring
semester with the community educator of this Topeka non-profit.
Race Against Breast Cancer
Liaison for community planning committee with local university; I assisted in volunteer training and
implementation, and day-of coordination. Assisted the director in pre-planning activities.
Young Alumni Council
