The vibration is likely due to magnetostriction forces. You can look it up on-line. If the the
vibration causes objectionable sound levels in the vicinity of the reactors and the reactors
are functioning properly with no faults, shorted or open turns, or loose core clamps, etc.,
then the sound levels can be reduced by various methods using acoustical absorbing
materials and/or redirecting the sound away from the those who have complaints. There
may also be active noise cancellation systems that use speaker arrays. Short of turning
off the reactors, don't expect that the noise can be eliminated entirely using any of these
technologies.

Magnetostriction forces due to the magnetization of the magnetic core sheets, are the
main reason for vibrations of the core and , this vibrations result in sounds that can be
very noisy
The best way to reduce this noise is to assemble correctly the magnetic core sheets and
avoid any gaps, and use appropriate joints between the separate core pieces
Shock absorbers and spring tightening accessories can significantly reduce this noises
significantly.

So Basically, its the core that vibrates? has it anything to do with coil..? Or the type of
tank we use..? As we are measuring vibration on tank only.. of course the primary reason
of vibration being core.
One thing I would also like to tell that core is a Gapped core construction type...

It is a old classic well known problem, that reactors have high vibration and are noisy. The
material which forms the gaps in the core is of high importance and must be of highest
quality in order to avoid that the core breaks down. Naturally you must try to avoid that
the core is to strong mechanically coupled to the tank. designing reactors is not always
easy.

The coil or the transformer as a system can have serious problems due to vibrations, so
the coils, the connections, the internal accessories and all fixed parts will be affected by
the vibrations.
The first thing to know is the vibration level and the tolerated limits according to normal
operation requirements.

Second you have to refer to the product manufacturer and consult carefully the technical
documentation of the product
If it is something that does not harm (noise is always present in electromagnetic devices)
than you have to get used to that, otherwise you have to maintain your equipment.

Ok, Now we can conclude that, Core is the first thing that vibrates, which then translates
into tank through mechanical coupling. If we can provide some sort of damping or
padding. can we reduce vibration.

I understood that it is gap core reactors than the problem is caused by the gap core
column.

If we provide some sort of rubber padding (which does not react with oil) between core
and tank, will it reduce vibration?
