found in Step 7A) on the avionics circuit-breaker panel. (Refer to the Maintenance Manual, Chapter
24, Electrical Distribution System - Maintenance Practices.)
8. (Refer to Figure 2.) Install the 3927028-1 Cable Assembly for the 101435-111124 Encoding Drum
Altimeter as follows:
A. Connect the 3927028-1 Cable Assembly to the 101435-111124 Encoding Drum Altimeter with the
MS31226F16-26S Connector (the label on the MS31226F16-26S Connector reads PU180) and the
MS3116F10-98S Connector (the label on the MS3116F10-98S Connector reads PU181).
B. Connect the JU44 Connector to the PU44 Connector and the JU45 Connector to the PU45
Connectors that were disconnected from the removed left encoding altimeter, and route the dimming
wire along the main wire harness.
C. Attach the dimming wire to the main wire harness with MS3367-1-9 Tie Straps.
D. Remove the lower left substrate panel forward of the left sidewall circuit-breaker panel to get access
to the terminal block assembly. Keep the screws.
E. Attach the S1829-1 Terminal to the TBA1-BPU181 Wire.
F. With the S1829-1 Terminal (that is connected to TBA1-BPU181 Wire), connect the dimming wire
to the pilot's-side dimming terminal on the S2567-10 Terminal Block Assembly, found adjacent
to the generator control unit (GCU).
9. (Refer to Figure 3.) Install the 3927029-1 Cable Assembly for the 10435-111125 Non-Encoding Altimeter
as follows:
A. Connect the 3927029-1 Cable Assembly to the 10435-111125 Non-Encoding Drum Altimeter with
the MS3116F10-98S Connector (the label on the MS3116F10-98S Connector reads PU181).
B. Do the routing of the 3927029-1 Cable Assembly along the existing wire bundles and cut the
3927029-1 Cable Assembly to the correct length.
C. Attach the S2353-3 Pin to the EPU182-YPZ09 Wire of the 3927029-1 Cable Assembly and install
the pin into the PZ09 Connector.
NOTE: The PZ09-JZ09 Connector is on the forward side of the avionics circuit breaker panel.
