The soil was classified as well graded sand (SW) according to the Unified Soil Classification System and A-1-a according to the AASHTO system. Over 93% of the soil passed through a #4 sieve, indicating it has a gravel content of only 5.2%. The D10, D30, and D60 particle sizes were also reported.
