Why did you do this study or project?

The research aims to test the presence of lead in different branded liquid lipsticks
by means of confirmatory tests using precipitating agents.

The purpose of the study was to test the presence of lead in branded liquid lipstick
samples and to inform the lipstick users the possibility of branded lipsticks having
lead

What did you do and how?

The researchers used confirmatory tests to confirm the presence of lead. By


using the precipitationg reagent of the group 1 cations 6M HCL and KI for the
confirmatory test.
