Obituary

Deborah Anne Mast

August 31, 1962 - September 29, 2017
Resident of Redwood City
Deborah passed away at the age of 55 in Seattle while attending
a conference she planned as president of the Transplant Financial
Coordinators Association. Beloved wife of Stephen Mast who
passed in August, loving mother of Melissa and Samantha Mast.
She is survived by her daughters, her brother Andrew Knox, and
her half brother Paul Knox. She was preceded in death by her
husband Steve, her mother Isabel, and her father Norman.
Debbie was an incredible person who touched everyone with her love, strength,
and passion for everything she involved herself in. Her family was her pride and joy,
and she loved talking with her daughters every day and constantly expressed how
proud they made her with their accomplishments. She was looking forward to all the
adventures life had planned for her. Debbie graduated from Burlingame High School
and attended UCLA where she earned her bachelors degree in Psychology. Working
as a Transplant Financial Coordinator for the past 25 years, along with being on the
board for multiple transplant organizations and leading the TFCA, it was clear that
transplant was her passion in life. She made so many heartfelt connections through
the years due to her kind, generous, and inspiring nature as a leader in the transplant
community. She enjoyed watching Forensic Files and Judge Judy, traveling with
her family to Lake Tahoe, and spreading knowledge about the importance of organ
donation.
Friends and family are invited to a memorial service on Saturday October 14, 2017
at 11 a.m. at Crosby-N. Gray & Co. Funeral Home at 2 Park Road, Burlingame.
Interment at Cypress Lawn Cemetery following the service. A celebration of Debbies
life will follow at a secondary location. In lieu of owers, the family requests
donations in Debbies name to UNOS, the TFCA, or the Donate Life program.

How Trumps tax plan

and pricey homes, from New York and Washington to Los

The subsidy for homeowners comes in the form of a deduc-

saved an average of $3,694 in 2015, according to an analy-

worth an average of $4,568, in San Francisco still more:
