HYPOTHESES

This study tested the following null and alternative hypotheses:

Null Hypothesis: There is no significant correlation between teenage

pregnancy and poverty.

Alternative Hypothesis: As the teenage pregnancy rate increases, the

poverty rate increases.


Scope and Delimitation

This study will focus on the relationship between the number of

teenage pregnancy and the poverty rate of Barangay Tandang Sora.

This research will get approximately 70-75 teenage pregnant who

have been pregnant at (12-19) years old and living in, Barangay Tandang

Sora. The subject were drawn to the teenagers who have been pregnant or a

teenager who is already pregnant and living in Barangay Tandang Sora. We

choose that community because this barangay have a large number of early

pregnancy.
Statement of the Problem

This study generally aims to distinguish the correspondence between

teenage pregnancy and the poverty rate of Baranggay Tandang Sora.

Specifically, this study shall seek answers to the following questions:

1. Which of this factors most affect the teenage pregnancy?

a. Social media;

b. Peer pressure;

c. Lack of knowledge; and

d. Lack of parents attention

2. How does teenage pregnancy affect the poverty rate of Baranggay

Tandang Sora?

3. Is there a significant relationship between teenage pregnancy and the

poverty rate of Baranggay Tandang Sora?
