TKE Xi-Upsilon Newsletter

November, 2017 11/13/2017

October Update:
The weather is getting colder and people are bundling up and sitting in with
their hot cup of coco… But not us. We’re just getting started with multiple
events hanging out and getting together for the occasional bro down.

Pec

We had our annual

Province Educational
Conference in which all of
our province’s chapter
attended. We discussed
alumni engagement,
recruiting and how to
better promote ourselves
on social media.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Oh boy it looks like we painted the rock again. This time

it’s with our good friends from Tri Sigma. It’s really great
to see us getting out and making connections.

October was breast cancer awareness

month and we got together and painted the
rock with a little tribute to the cause. Here
we have Fraters posing showing their
dedications to the cause.
When the Brotherhood is Strong

On the left Frater Josue Vasquez was gracious enough to

treat brothers to a meal at his former job Lazertron. On the
right is Fraters (left to right) Vasquez, Brent Neves and
Dawson Hilk getting wild this Halloween weekend in their fluffy
onesies.
Fall Clean Up

Fraters (left to right)

Joseph Pereira,
Brian Bogan, Kevin
Frederickson, Jarett
Plante, (AMC 104)
Nicholas Bogan
and Dawson Hilk

Yup, it’s that time of

year again. Fall Clean
Up was held this
month and here we
see some brothers
having a good time
raking some leaves.
In the picture to the
left we have Frater
Ferguson Drozenski
and AMC 104’s
Anthony Padula
posing with their
newly raked leaves.
Pig Roast!!!

Oh boy, Pig Roast was a blast. We had many alumni come for the 10th
anniversary of pig roast and dozens of family members attend. This was
certainly an event to remember and a great one to kick off our 45th year
of being Tekes.
Yo Bar? Part 2

Ladies and gentlemen the streak is alive. Frater Kevin

Frederickson has been to the Salsarita’s Bar for 48
straight school days. Here he is posing with our
sweetheart Laura Denlinger and bartender Mark Greles.
Sweetheart get a kitty

One of our sweethearts made it

back to the newsletter (woo
hoo). Laura Denlinger adopted
a new cat. Gracie (the cat) is a
recent mother and is still
lactating which is problematic
(as you can see in the bottom
left picture). However, she is
upbeat and loves attention from
people
TKE Does New York City

Fraters Joseph Pereira and

Kevin Frederickson along
with Laura Denlinger took a
trip to Joe’s home in Suffern
NY. There they spent a day
in NYC and went to see a
Rangers game. Kevin was
ecstatic as it was his first time
in the city (Even though he
lives in NY State).

Teke of the Month

This month’s Teke of the month goes to Frater Joseph Pereira. He

took on the responsibility of Pig Roast and made it one of the best in
it’s history as well as made this beautiful tabletop. It’s truly a great
thing to have him in the house creating these magnificent additions to
the house.
